We live in the west of scotland after the decision to purchase a show Akita we done alot of research into the breed to make sure it was the right breed for us. We contacted some breeders got as much information as we could also went to shows to see the type we liked etc. We did not jump in to quick and waited some years before purchasing just the bitch we had been looking for and all the research paid off.
