My name is Caz Lotcho, I read up on Akitas for about 2 years before getting my first one. I have been in the breed from 98. I activately show all my dogs at championship level and am well known in the breed. I have at present 7 akitas and 4Japanese Shiba Inu. I don't breed all the time and only when I am looking for something to put in the show ring. The main dogs that are active in the showring are the ones on the website. we are Jo and Jarrad Whitfield, we live in Liverpool. Jarrad and I are currently owned by two beautiful akita's Gracie and Mia and three crazy chinese crested dogs Dolli,Whizzy and Sadie.

In 2005 we were introduced to dog showing and totally bitten by the show bug!
Our first show puppy gracie, won two pbis and two rbpis so we have been quite lucky to have had such a good start!

We have only been owners of Shibas and Akitas and Long Haired Chihuahuas for a few years. We got our first Shiba in 2005 and our first Akita in 2007. In 2009 we added to our family when we fell in love with a little chocolate long coated chihuahua.
We now have 5 Shibas, 4 Akitas and 4 long coated Chihuahua and couldn't imagine life without our boys and girls.
We are only a small breeder and to date have only had 4 shiba litters,1 Akita Litter and just had our first chihuahua litter as we only breed to improve the breed and to add to our own doggy family.

My first breed was Dobermanns which I exhibited & bred from 1970 adding Akita's to my kennel in 1985. I award CC's in both breeds and was a committee member & treasurer of North of England Dobermann club for many years.
For the last 15 years I have been on the committee of the Akita Association as Show Manager and this year I was elected to the position of Chairman.

All my stock are hip scored & eye tested
