Hi my name is gillian and I am a small kennel in cheshire, specialising in chihuahuas and affenpinschers with excellent blood lines. I have had dogs all my life, and got my first chihuahua when I was 10 years old, but only started showing them in 2000. Have only been in Affenpinschers since 2001. Have had a RCC with Chiaffie Jimmy Mack and numerous 1st at champ level with Chiaffie Billy Jean both chihuahuas. Billy has also had numerous 1st at Crufts. We have owned Bulldogs since 1978 and bred our first litter in '79. The encouragement and suport we were given at that time by Mr and Mrs Evans (Bryneatons) has never been forgotten. The more so because we were perhaps rather unusual 19 year old students! We have always tried to give back the same level of curtesy and encouragement to pet owners, puppy buyers and other breeders.
We now also show and occassionaly breed Affenpinschers and smoothcoat Chihuahua.

Current Health Tests

Darksprite is a small friendly show kennel based in North Yorkshire. All our dogs are raised as part of the family and are well socialised and healthy. We currently have 3 miniature schnauzers (pepper & salt) and 2 affenpinschers in our household. We are Kennel Club Assured Breeders and all our dogs are health tested as required for their breed, the miniature schnauzers being eye tested and the affenpinschers being patella tested. Good health and temperament are paramount in our breeding and we will always provide on-going support for buyers of our puppies.

I have had Bearded Collies since 1982 and began showing in 1998. I had always had males until 2004 when I got my first beardie bitch. I now have 4 bitches and 3 dogs, the oldest being 14 and half and grandfather to 4 of my dogs.s
Affenpinschers were my daughers' breed and following her untimely death in 2001 they came to live with us. I have continued to show and breed Affenpinschers with much success.
