Tess (Spinneyfield Amazing Grace of Ronevorg). My second flatcoat and first show bitch.

I grew up with Skye Terriers, and then started showing and breeding Cockers at the age of 16 for a few years. Later on, in 1988, we bought our first flatcoat - Exclyst Wishful (Tara) - a litter sister to the successful Exclyst Watchman. Tara was a beautiful flatcoat, who grew up alongside my children and lived to the fabulous age of 14 1/2.

With the support of the Flatcoated Retriever Society litter secretary, we were delighted to welcome our new flatcoat Tess into our home in 2004. Together with my son Tom, we are enjoying the show circuit and having lots of fun along the way. We have made some new and special friends who are really supportive (thank you girls).

And then came Sally.....

June 2007 - our new addition has arrived!

Sally is out of Rainesgift Serendipity of Beanit and by Ch Riversflight Waveney. She is Tess' niece and is settling in really well.

Results:
Nov 07 Sally qualified for Crufts 2008 at her first time out - coming 2nd in a strong class of 12.
Jan 08 Sally qualified for Crufts 2009!
Crufts 08 - Sally came 5th in a large Special Puppy Bitch class of 23 - brilliant!

From Tess and Sally I will be starting my breeding lines.

Tess gained her stud book number under Judge Mike Anderson at Boston Championship Show on 5 January 2008, in strong Limit class of 16, thereby qualifying her for Crufts for life.

Tess' half brother Harry (Capeldewi Just Joey) and Molly the Irish Setter come to stay for their holidays.

Whilst Harry and Molly are on their holidays with us they get trimmed, washed and love playing with Tess and and Sally.
