Candy has gained her Junior Warrant in the last year. Many thanks to Jo Ratcliffe for her excellent handling that helped achieve this.

Jo also handled Candy superbly when she gained her first CC under Bob Tunnicliff at LKA in 2006.

Buster is a red tricolour. He is the son of Misty, Ghostland Blue Fleck at Troumerle, and Troumerle Topaz. Buster is now 15 years old. He has the most wondeful nature and temperament.

This is Deli, Jackie's red merle bitch. Deli is not with us any more but is a first class example of the quality of Troumerle breeding and the clarity of our merle's colours.

It all started with Misty. He was intelligent and faithful as well as gentle. Those are the qualities that Troumerle has attempted to breed into the line.

Troumerle started as a little girls dream. A little girl, called Jackie, who wanted nothing more in the world than her own Border Collie. She had been reading Enid Blyton’s “Shadow the Sheep Dog” and knew that a border collie was for her.

Many years and a border terrier, two cats, a golden retriever and Shadow the German Shepherd Dog later she finally got her dream. She got her first Border Collie, Misty, who for 15 ½ years became her best friend and constant companion as well as her guardian.

Unlike expectations, Misty was not a traditional black and white border collie. While Jackie was searching for her dream, she discovered that Border Collies come in colours as well as black and white. And so she came to have this exceptional blue merle called Misty - Ghostland Blue Fleck at Troumerle.

Sherry (Passims Onyx) and Jaff (Ghostland Jaff at Troumerle), quickly followed Misty. This is where Jackie began to breed to produce her lovely line of dogs who, not only have the most wonderful temperaments, but have also been very successful in the show ring over since around 1987. Collies come in nearly all the colours at Troumerle - black and white, blue and white, red and white, red tri-colour, red merle, blue merle and silver merle and ee-red.

Reecent show successes have included Best Puppy in Breed at Crufts 2006 with our bitch, Troumerle Rainbow JW, having attained her first Challenge Certificate at LKA in December 2006 under Bob Tunnicliffe with Jo Ratcliffe handling.
