Welcome to Celticwolf Alaskan Malamutes.
Kennel Club Accredited Breeder. Tel has lived with dogs for over 5 decades, and trains and competes with his own dogs. He has a wealth of knowledge to share.


As well as being part of the family, our Malamutes Work and Show.
They have been placed top Malamute team at working rallies, and have qualified for Crufts for 6 years running.
3 of our Malamutes have been placed in the top 4 of their class at Crufts , and we have 1 of our Malamutes qualified for Crufts 2010.

We have lived around, owned and trained dogs for over 50 years, and have competed in the top level of Competitive Obedience, Agility, Breed Shows, Sled dog Rallies, & Sheepdog Trials.
Terry is an obedience instructor at a dog club, has trained the intsructors at dog training clubs, judged Sheepdog Trials, given demonstrations with his dogs, had Newspaper articles on him and has had his dogs on TV.
He now gives 1 to 1 instruction in Obedience, Sheepdog & Gundog handling, harness & sleddog training and Ringcraft. He trains Sheepdogs for farmers & Trialist's and Gundogs for competition and work, and still competes in Sheppdog Trials, Sleddog Rallies and Championship Breed Shows.


We are available for help and advice on training and socialising, and on the temperament, behaviour and history of Alaskan Malamutes



We are the ' ONLY ' Alaskan Malamute kennels in the UK to have trained a K.C. Border Collie to the level of working in ' C only ' in Competitive Obedience.
He won 1 x Pre Beg - 5 x Beginners - 3 x 'A' - 3 x 'B' and was placed in 'C'.
We now give Obedience training for people who would like to qualify their dogs out of Beginners & Novice classes, and go on to work in A B & C classes.

3rd place at Crufts 2007
Qualified for Crufts 2008 .
She gained her qualification for Crufts 2007 at the age of 8 months, at the Welsh Kennel Club Championship Show on August 10th. 2006.
She is now working in harness.

CHIEF placed 3rd in class at Crufts 2009. He has qualified for Crufts 2010
The 6th year running CHIEF has been to Crufts and got placed.

JUNO'S first time at Crufts at 15months old.

CHIEF & KALI were the top placed Malamute team at Pembrey Rally, held over 2 days on February 3rd. & 4th. 2007, and run over 3.4 miles on each day.

CHIEF & JUNO will be at Crufts on March 9th. 2007

WELL DONE to CHIEF for another 2nd. place in his class at CRUFTS 2006. We are really proud of him.


ALASKAN MALAMUTES

As members of AMCUK, AMWA and ISDS and being on the AMCUK Breeders list, any breeding we do is done following the Breeders Code of Ethics.
We are friendly and willing to answer questions and help in any way with information on the breed.

Our Malamutes are excellent examples of the breed. Good temperaments, good show dogs, good workers, Hip Scored and Eye Tested. Fit and healthy, fully vaccinated, wormed and with all health checks. They have had many places at Campionship shows and Crufts qualifcations for 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008, and are good working dogs.
Any pups we may have in the future will be born and reared in the house, fully wormed and vaccinated, socialised with other dogs and people, and will be K.C. registered including the 6 weeks free insurance.

It is worth finding out as much as possible about Alaskan Malamutes before bringing one into the family pack. If you have any questions about the Alaskan Malamute that you would like answered, feel free to contact us for any help or information.

All our Malamutes are trained to walk nicely on the lead and pull hard when in harness. They get to run around fields or along farm tracks off the lead everyday, and do some basic obedience training ( SIT - DOWN - STAND - RECALL - WALK ON LEAD etc ) and are always ready for a cuddle and love to have visitors.

We belive that although having a good pedigree full of champions, as our dogs do, it is also important to consider the merits and achievements of any dog that is bred from.

STUD.

CHIEF is an excelent example of the breed and is now availabe as a STUD DOG, for bitches that are Hip Scored & Eye Tested and endorsements are placed on pups.

Our Malamutes love to run, play and work together, either pulling a rig or in the snow with a sled.

As a working breed, Alaskan Malamutes are happy to work, as they have done for centuries

At CELTICWOLF we like to give our Malamutes the chance to do what they were born for, and we are always available for advice on training.

We were in Italy on the invitation of the President of the Malamute Club of Italy, to attend the Italian Malamute Club Sleddog weekend in the Italian mountains.

Kennel Club Accredited Breeder. Qualified for Crufts for the past 6 years, and true to the breed, our Mals work in harness. Breeder support, with a working knowledge of the breeds behaviour and working instincts. We also rehabilitate Malamutes for Rescue groups. Code of Ethics. No unethical inbreeding or underage breeding in our dogs.
