Caravaggio vom Moisburger Berg (German import) and Leadenpenny Black Beata. Great friends.

Leadenpenny Giant Schnauzers live in rural Suffolk by the sea.
My first Giant died when only 5 years of age. He suffered and I suffered. I could not bear to risk a repetition of this and so conducted research which lead me to a breeder in Germany, and I imported my foundation bitch from the Moisburger Berg Kennels in Northern Germany.
As a Kennel Club Accredited Breeder, I am pleased at this step taken by the KC and hope that it will lead to more responsible breeding. In Germany a dog cannot be bred from unless it has tested clear for every available relative test and hip scored as well as reaching a required standard for the breed. For her first litter with me I took Trina back to Germany to be mated, resulting in Allulia. For her second litter here I was able to use a wonderful Black Giant imported from Finland to enlarge the gene pool. When the female I keep is three years of age she will be mated back to a Pepper and Salt male and the best female of that colour will be kept and used to continue the line, but with many more genes available.
