Marjee came to live with us from France at just over 1 year old and has only been shown very lightly . She gave us a beautiful litter of puppies to Malory de Condivicnum at Corsini at Lancetti (Fr. Import) in the autumn of `99. Iolair Make My Day and sister Iolair Merise, remained with us. Iolair Merise on her Irish debut was awarded Reserve Green Star at Irish Working + Pastoral show 29.3.03 judge Des Manton. Then at the Belgian Shepherd Club of Ireland Champ. Show 30.3.03 was again awarded Reserve Green Star under breed specialist Mme W. Van deijl.
Bunny who has super construction and has excellent breed type appeals to breed specialist and all rounders alike and to date some of her notable awards are, GSs+ RGSs, BOBs and CACIBs
Brother Harry prefers to remain on the home front taking care of our canine and human residents alike!

Totie born 20.05.04 is my first and long awaited, Finnish Lapphund.
I had watched Lapphunds for many years and the breed coming off the Import Register was the impetus I needed to go in search of my very own Finnish Lapphund. I was fortunate to be invited to join a group of friends who were attending a FL breed Club Show in Finland. I found this trip to be a great learning experience and felt that it gave me a better insite into what the Fins are looking for in this their lovely native breed. I now have my long awaited little girl, Totie pictured here at 18mths, who is growing into a lovely specimen of this beautiful breed. With numerous wins and Open and Championship level including. BOB,BOS,BB, BP, RBB and not forgetting 6 Irish Green Stars+ CACIBs, CACs, BEST BITCH CRUFTS + BOB Bath 2006 Many thanks to breed specialist judges Mrs Doreen Edmunds + Mrs Elaine Short.

Orso-Farm Rosmariini of Iolair, dob 19.6.05, has at last arrived safely in the UK from Finland. Many thanks to Eija Lehtimaki for this extremely pretty little girl who will hit the show scene once she has settled into her new surroundings here in Ochiltree.

Marjee was mated to F.Ch. Chelville Tapio and produced a super litter of puppies I have kept dog Iolair Aatu and his sister Iolair Katja from this mating.

IOLAIR pronounced Eye-oh-lair is from Gaelic
and means EAGLE.

IOLAIR is a small private kennel, and I enjoy showing my dogs, i award CCs in all Belgian Shepherd Dogs and Australian Shepherds.
B list judge for Finnish Lapphunds, C - Border Collie, Beardies, Rough Collie, Shelties, PWCorgi, OES, these being amongst some of my `special interest` breeds. I was secretary of The Finnish Lapphund Club of GB, and Irvine & District Canine Club and I enjoy stewarding at Open+Champ. shows and have "dabbled " in obedience! I was a NBSDC Committee member and also served as Membership Secretary for some years.
Having owned various breeds of dog over many years I at present own Tervuerens, Aussies and Finnish Lapphunds. All our dogs are loving, intelligent, active breeds of dog with a `sense of fun!` They make excellent all round dogs. Wonderful companions, beautiful show dogs, enthusiastic working, agility and obedience dogs, loyal and loving. Being pastoral breeds, all originally bred to work alongsides their owners, they need to be busy mentally and physically and are not the type of dog for the `couch potato` owner!
I very occasionally have puppies for sale, as we breed primarily for ourselves. Our main priority is to have Iolair puppies placed in loving permanent homes. All our dogs are Hip Scored and Optigen DNA tested (where applicable) and are annually Eye Tested before embarking on any breeding programme. I enjoy talking to other dog enthusiasts and am always happy to offer help when asked or exchange views and news with other dog lovers.

Ripple has matured into a beautiful, sweet natured bitch, who has had numerous notable wins at open and Champ show level(1st PG Bitch Crufts)as well as several Irish GSs.
Ripple was mated to Accra Imtheotherone in 2005 producing a beautiful litter of super puppies. A dog from this litter - Sangosands Stars and Stripes - has made Aussie history by being the 1st Aussie in the UK to gain his JW.
