History of Marronoir Labradors - Hoping to produce Ambassadors of the Labrador breed.
I have been around dogs, mainly labradors all my life. Our families first lab was a gentle black dog from working lines named 'Daniel of Kenwun'. For my sixteenth birthday my parents bought me my first show dog - 'Capercail Carriole JW' (a Fulbeck Fantail son) who taught me so much more than I him. Even with my inexperience we managed to win Best Puppy and BOB at his first show at the tender age of six months. He went on to gain his Junior Warrant and take me to Crufts, a wonderful companion and dearly missed. Next came a yellow bitch Lejie Honey Girl and a black bitch Lindall Innuendo. After a couple of years showing moved to the background due to work committments, but the two girls remained as my constant companions. In the last few years I have been bitten again by the bug and the kennel was re born with the addition of two black dogs followed by a chocolate. In addition to showing these youngsters I have completed Kennel Club Good citizen Awards. I health test all my dogs and am committed to producing healthy, happy labradors. I ama member of several labrador clubs and a sering committee member of the Northumberland and Durham Labrador Retriever Club, a role I enjoy immensely. With the next generation I am hoping to develop their working skills too.
