My interest in Great Danes started when I was a child and I bought my first one 43 years ago, a harlequin.I took her around the shows and was hooked.I eventualy had a litter from her then successfuly campaigned and bred harlequins and about 5 years later introduced fawns then brindles.Since then i have campaigned 9 Danes to their title. I have been awarded 34 cc's and numerous rcc's with homebred Danes to date. 2 of the most well known dogs being Ch. Arondyke Arnold the Bouncer(brindle) and Ch. Arondyke Against All Odds(fawn) who have left their mark and can be found behind many of the most successful winners with Ch. Arondyke Against All Odds winning top stud dog all breeds 3 years running.I judge at championship level and have judged Danes in Sweden at one of their clubs championship shows.George (opposite)is one of the dogs from my programe carrying many top Arondyke lines.I'm afraid that he is not keen on showing himself off so it is exceptionaly difficult to get a photo to do him justice.
At the moment my top dog is Ch Arondyke Absent minded JW who this year has ammased 12 CCs, 4 RCCs Top Dog Dane Of The Year 2009 ( also top Dane Of The Year 2008) Overall Super League winner 2009 (Overall Premier League Winner 2008) and Dog World Top Dane Dog 2009.
