This a wonderful story of buying a Dachshund for a friend. Hamish our first Dachshund was intended for a friend. During the short time that we had him he became part of the family and the bond was to strong to break, so much so that we had to buy another dog for her and she oftens sings whenever she meets Hamish "That this nearly was mine"
Since that day our family has grown, they are all part of our family and live a very contented and happy life. This is shown in their temperement, all quiet and loving.
