Glasarian is a small kennel in beautiful North Shropshire. Our first bitch, Megan, who came from the excellent Oakmoreton kennel, is now 7 and has competed in local shows with a good degree of success, she is a member of the Whitchurch Dog Display team and has taken part in both agility and obedience public displays with a bit of fun showing thrown in for good measure.

We are also members of the North of England Weimaraner Society, the Weimaraner Association and more recently the North Shropshire Show Dog Training Club with Stuart and Pauline Furber.

Between 2002 and 2003 she achieved her Kennel Club Bronze, Silver and Gold Obedience awards with trainer Carole Hill.

We bred from Megan for the first time in the summer of 2004 using "Tommy" (Ch + Ir Ch Enryb Christmas Party JW) from the fantastic ENRYB kennel and she produced 6 gorgeous little bundles (5m 1f), you can see them on the linked page.

Meg's second litter, again with "Tommy", of 7 (4m 3f) in 2006 have now all gone to great new homes apart from Ysobel who is staying with us at Glasarian. Following this litter we are very pleased to have been awarded Kennel Club Accredited Breeder status in 2007.

Yzzy is now following in her mother's pawprints having acheived her Bronze in November 2006, Silver in March 2007 and her Gold in June 2007. She is now a regular with the Whitchurch team, now doing fire as well, and seems to be taking to the show ring well.

Both dogs are now regulars at monthly gundog training events with the Marches Gundog Group at Heathwaen Fishery, as of May 2009.

STOP PRESS - Yzzy won her third Best of Breed at the Gundog Club of North Wales Show on 3rd May 2009 - and won her first shiny; the Keaek trophy.
