Glasarian is a small kennel in beautiful North Shropshire. Our first bitch, Megan, who came from the excellent OAKMORETON kennel, she competed in local shows with a good degree of success, she performed with the Whitchurch Dog Display team and took part in both agility and obedience public display. Sadly we lost Meg in May 2015 after a long and happy life being "owned" by her.

Between 2002-2003 she achieved her KC Bronze, Silver and Gold Obedience awards with trainer Carole Hill and took part in various Rally classes and some local showing.

We bred from Megan for the first time in the summer of 2004 using "Tommy" (Ch + Ir Ch Enryb Christmas Party JW; sadly also no longer with us) from the fantastic ENRYB kennel and she produced 6 gorgeous little bundles (5m 1f), you can see them on the linked page.

Meg's second litter, again with "Tommy", of 7 (4m 3f) in 2006 all went to great new homes apart from Ysobel who is staying with us. Following this litter we are very proud to have been awarded Kennel Club Accredited Breeder status in 2007 and were the first Weimaraner breeders with this status in Shropshire.

Yzzy is now following in her mother's pawprints having acheived her Good Citizen Bronze, Silver and Gold. She is a regular with the Whitchurch team, doing fire as well, and has taken to the show ring very well, gaining her SHCM in 2012, as well as qualifying for Crufts 2012,13 + 14.

Jenna joined us in Shropshire in September 2010 from Jean Byrne's wonderful ENRYB kennel in Lancashire and will be joining the team for agility, obedience and showing. Her dad Monty (CH & IRISH SH CH ENRYB SECRET PARTY JW Sh CM) won Best of Breed at Crufts 2011. Jenna has passed her KC GOLD Award at 12 months and 3 days, with Carol Hill from Walford and North Shropshire College and won her first BIS at 16 months at Newtown in November 2011.

Jenna and Jaspar (ANSONA COUNTRY FAIR) have produced Cerys for us and she is now out and about in the show ring and qualified for Crufts 2014. She has already passed her Bronze, Silver and Gold Good Citizen awards.

Jenna's final litter, with Sh Ch Kalimor Cody at Parmelly ShCM JW (5F+2M) in January 2016, has given us Beca, who has gained her Bronze and Sliver KCGCDS awards and qualified for Crufts 2017 at WKC in August.

We are also members of the North of England Weimaraner Society, the Weimaraner Association and more recently the North Shropshire Show Dog Training Club with Stuart and Pauline Furber.

Chris has served as Chairman of the Wellington (Shropshire) Canine Society and is currently a Committee member of Shropshire Gundog Society where he has also judged Weimaraners at the 2015 Open show. He is on the Judging C list of NEWS.

STOP PRESS - Beca had a lovely day at Crufts 2017, thanks to all the family and friends that came to see us and to Dale Burgess for his photo of Beca in the ring.

Just had Beca's hip scores back from the BVA, a very pleasing 5/5.
