Hornerama Labrador Retrievers

We have been breeding Labradors for 11 years and have now achieved 4 generations, as shown on the last litter of puppies. I have had dogs all my life as family pets.
I do now show myself but I am guided by Fiona Bradden and Tony Pasco on blood lines and how best to achieve the breed standard. I do not own a stud dog and I am extremely lucky to have two such venerated breeders as my mentors as they both have had a life time of experience and success, both in breeding and showing. Although my two son both rough shoot and our younger dogs pick up happily when offered the opportunity, they are bred from showing lines. My aim is to breed really beautiful old fashioned Labradors. Currently we have 4 Labradors, 3 black and one yellow, the oldest of whom is 11 and still leaping gates, and the youngest is under a year. They are all very much family pets and live with us in the house. We have a farm with a river and they swim daily and exercise with our horses. All our dogs are vaccinated, have current eye tests and have good hip scores. Our puppies are born in the kitchen, where they live until they are truly mobile and on hard food. They are thus exposed to lots of people, family noise and of course children.
