Scalene

This is the home of the Scalene Weimaraners established in 1977 with the foundation bitch Bourtonvale Duchess Camilla (Portia) who produced Show Champion Scalene Sportsman (Spencer). Spencer was an attractive dog of good proportions meeting the Breed Standard. He was a good pale colour and noted for his excellent movement and gentle loving nature.

Our current stud dog (Arkwright) a fifth generation of Sportsman is a striking dog with Spencer's temperament and our constant loyal companion. Shown successfully at some of the nearer Championship shows but not at the more distant venues due to ageing owners!

Our other happy bundle of mischief is Cavalmist Cracker for Scalene, (Cracker) one of the happiest Weimaraners I have ever known.

In 1994 we introduced Affenpinschers to our kennel of ten Weimaraners and they immediately took command!

Furstin Friendly Face At Scalene is a merry little dog full of spirit; she and her four companions, two of whom carry the Scalene affix, are delightful to own, full of fun and all get on well with the "Grey Ghosts". Their results in the show ring have been encouraging while breeding them is a challenge.
