ZANYS

Zanys Labradors were established in the early 1980s. Our dogs are based on old Ballyduff lines, forward to the modern day they have a mix of Charway,Cambremer and Brigburn amongst others.
We are a small kennel,only breeding the occasional litter with particular emphasis on good temperament and breed type that conform to the KC breed standard and make lovely companions.
Zanys Labradors have gone on to do well for new owners at obedience, in the show ring and as working gundogs but they are just as happy to be curled up at the feet of their owners.
Our stock is genetically free from PRA and are hip scored. They also have current clear eye certificates.

"NEWS" -- MAC IS CURRENTLY SPENDING A FEW MONTHS WITH MARRONOIR TO ENABLE HIM TO BE CAMPAIGNED PROPERLY IN THE UK.

We miss him terribly !!

We now live in the Western Isles which means we can't attend as many shows as we would like to however we do have a good record when we do manage a trip to the mainland.
June 2009 -- Mona's first trip to the mainland in 18 months and she wins Graduate Bitch under Richard Edwards at the new Joint Lab Club show and then wins Post Graduate Bitch at Border Union under Chris Bailliss .

Oct 2010 -- Mona gets a 3rd in a super Limit class from Eileen Jackson at NDLRC- gaining her stud book number and a lifetime Crufts qualification.

Oct 2010 - Mac's first trip to the mainland and wins Junior Dog at NDLRC under Carole Whitfield thereby qualifying for Crufts 2011.


Crufts 2011 - Mac wins Yearling Dog and then the Reserve CC under David Coode.

Mac has continued his winning ways on each trip to the mainland winning his class at the majority of his shows through 2011.
Congratulations - Zanys Lollipop at Marronoir on qualifying for Crufts 2012 by winning her class at Gundog Breeds of Scotland.
