Gemma was TOP PUPPY 1999. She also won 2 of her RCCs in 1999 as a puppy. Her first being at Driffield under Tony Rainey from Ireland. 15 October 1999, her second being at Gundog Breeds of Scotland under Ian Hampton 13 November 1999 where she also won RESERVE BEST PUPPY IN SHOW under FRANK KANE. She now has 10RCCs 3 CCs and 3 BOBs to her credit. She also won 1st at Crufts 2000 under Kevin Grewcock in Junior and 2nd at Crufts under Patsy Hollings in Open.

Gemma returned to the show ring at the NEWS Championship show April 2008 at the age of 9 years 4 months in the Veteren Class. She won this class and the Reserve CC under Julie Turner, her 10th. She also won Best Veteren in Show and Reserve Best in Show.
Thanks to Julie Turner and Gil Simpson and everyone there for their support. What a day to remember. It was fantastic.
The following week her son Weimsmyre Dire Straits (Appollo) won the Dog Green Star, BOB and 2nd in the Group at the Cork and District Champ. Show in Ireland. Well done to him.
He now has 9 reserve green stars and 4 green stars. 1 Reserve Ticket after his 1st show at Edinburgh last year under Pauline Brookes.
