"Auberon" being my Kennel Club Breed Affix, the name given to all of our pups when registered with the Kennel Club. As all of our dogs and pups are raised within the home, we tend not to think of it as a "kennel " name. Our dogs are very much part of the family and live within our house. We do not refer to our dogs as being our "pets" we prefer to see them as our "companions"and they are treated as such. We are not a huge "kennel" we have a couple of companion dogs and our two Rottie ladies, Tilly and Molly who are of breeding age.

As to the care and welfare of our dogs, they are raised in the beautiful South West, on the edge of huge park with great walks, as well as some of the most stunning beaches and country side just a short drive away. We have all of our dogs regulary vet tested for their general well being etc, and all breeding stock is hip scored under the B.V.A. Scheme. We only have excellent hip scores, anything less would not be bred from and would remain with us as companions .


As for myself I have been involved in raising, training and showing for twenty four yrs, the last fifteen years breeding of both Rotts and Akitas.
The main loves of my life are Rottweiler and Akitas, two large breeds that require special care and attention.
I have trained and shown both breeds and have qualified several for Crufts for life, both dogs I have bought and dogs I have bred.

A huge area of my life is involved with the rescue and welfare of both breeds. Regarding Rottweilers, both my wife and myself have been representatives of Rottweiler rescue societies for twenty four years. For the past seven years we have run ( Rottweiler Welfare Southwest ) and have several representatives and foster homes working in conjunction with us.

When I am not at home at the weekends relaxing with my dogs and my family, I am either showing the girls, running my business (Kensmith Canine Supplies) at dog shows, throughout the South West or am involved in the co-ordination and movement of rescue dogs both Rotts and Akitas to their new homes.
