After 18 wonderful years of successfully showing and living with the gentle giant of the dog world the Newfoundland, and after owning or breeding some 6 CC or RCC winners and 4 Champions including 2 top winning Bitches for the breed, i have found the American Cocker who i can only describe as the perfect companion and house dog.

Having decided to devote my home to this wonderful gregarious breed the American Cocker i decided to found this kennel on the very best dogs and breeding i could find. With health a primary concern i have sourced from the States two young bitches who i believe will serve to found a kennel on outstanding quality breeding with a history of healthy and permanently clear eyes.

Form follows function and i aim to breed American Cocker Spaniels which can and could work in the field, after health i aim for correct breed type, with correct construction and sound free easy movement showing great reach and purposeful driving movement.

Movement is a priority in my breeding programme together with health and correct breed type.

Indy was my last champion Newfoundland, she is home bred from the beautiful and oustandinly well constructed Ch Cannon Bears Reason To Kill ex the phenominal Multi Ch Am Im Great to be Back.

Rhea was BIS from almost 300 Newfoundlands at the Breed Club Championship Show in 2000, while Bruce was Top winning Newfoundland in 2002 (from 5 shows) and won the Group at Crufts 2003. In addition to BIS at the Danish Gold Cup and a Champion in over 20 countires.

Indy is a very special dog and a wonderful companion.

I have founded the American Cocker Spaniel kennel with two outstanding bitches from the USA they are combinations of some of the top winning dogs in the USA at this time and i hope they will prove to be great producers.

They have both already made perfect house pets and companions.

All of my dogs live in my home and have the run of the house during the daytime, Spencer is also my bed buddy ;-))

I breed only occasionally and only when i want something for myself to show, in 18 years showing Newfoundlands i have bred just 4 litters, despite owning 4 champion girls. I have only ever bred from fully health tested and clear dogs and aim to continue this philosophy with the American Cockers.
