"Karl" brought with him his legacy of well-known American lines from the Buck Hollow and Tabor Kennels, going back on Kaposia, Fuerhrerheim, Big Island and other bloodlines.

He was a pleasant natured standard sized male, with smooth topline and great hindquarters, but only sired a handful of litters. From these came 1 show champion bitch, dog with RCC, 2 JW winners, many championship show first prize winners, Crufts Limit Bitch winner (Fichtenwald Fahne) and many Open Show winners, with BOBs, etc.. His pups were also good working dogs and several have Working Test wins and places.

This standard size solid liver bitch is ex Wildbach Oklahoma, double-granddaughter of the American dog, and by Isara Kurzhaar Deer Hunter JW.

Candide has done well in the showing, with many BPIBs, as well as Gundog Puppy Group wins and places, RBPIS and BPIS at big open shows at Shepton Mallet. When out of Puppy, she won consecutive classes at open and championship shows, with several Open Show BOBs, and was 2nd in the GSP Puppy Bitch class at Crufts 1997. In 2007 she has entered 4 Open Show Gundog Veteran classes (at age 12!) and won 3 out of 4 - as was the oldest in the class.!

She is a fast, keen, bird-mad hunter and loves to retrieve, swim and point.

Ross and Ben are examples of our boys!

Both were stylish hunters and pointers - as you
can see!

Ben died at 14 3/4 yrs of age and his sister, Wildbach High Society, died at 15 1/4 yrs.

Ross is still here at nearly 14 yrs of age and enjoys
his daily leisurely walk by a trout stream in a meadow!

His line is carried on via his daughter, Sunshine Valley - whose pups are doing well in Working Tests, etc.. and his grand-daughter, American Ch Wildbach Gyspy Rose aus dem Norden in Minnesota.

Rowan and Pavla are fast, keen hunters who grew up in West Cornwall - racing along the beaches,
swimming in the surf, rabbit hunting in the gorse and brambles on the cliffs and around old, derelict mining areas! They are bold. Rowan probably made breed history by being the first solid black GSP to fall down a mine shaft!

They are friendly, highly intelligent, learn everything straight away, love training, are very obedient and like to keep busy! Pavla is full of fun, whereas Rowan is more serious!

They have been shown only very lightly, but Pavla went Best of Breed at the Devon County (Open) Show in 2007 and Rowan picked up 3 BIS and 2 RBIS
at Companion Dog shows on the Devon/Somerset border and some local BOBs at Open Shows. They have been out on the local shoots too! Pavla may be bred to an American or Continental dog in 2008.

Wildbach GSPs were established in 1976 and strive to breed GSPs of good type who are sound in mind , body and conformation, and can enjoy going out for a day's shooting, falconry, obedience, agility or a day at a dog show as well as family life.

All the dogs here hold British Veterinary Association/ Kennel Club certificates for hips, hearts and eyes and have many generations of ancestors in the UK, USA and Germany with health certification from official bodies.
