CHAMPION AUSTMANS GROUND CONTROL photo by: Alan V Walker | FIRST EVER UK CHAMPION AUSTRALIAN CATTLE DOG
In 2007 ACDs were given Ch status for the first time in the UK. In May 'Nasa' became the first Ch having taken all of the first 3 CCs on offer. He finished 2007 as TOP DOG IN BREED.
His wins include: Top Dog 2007 Runner-up Top ACD 2006 Crufts 2007 Best of Breed WELKS 2007 Pastoral Group 4 Multiple Championship Show Best of Breed 4 Challenge Certificates in 2007 Best Dog & RBIS ACD Society Show 2006 (60 entries) ACDSGB Runner Up in Breed 2005 Crufts Best Puppy in Breed 2005 Top Puppy Dog 2004 Multiple BOB & Group placings at Open Shows
Nasa is a soundly constructed dog with easy movement and a super temperament. Don't take our word for it here's what the judges said:
"Instant impression of a medium size powerful working dog..." Stella Smyth (Morrow). "Superb from all angles and could go on all day. Just adored him." Allison King. "as hard as a rock, so fit, positive attitude, correct size...loved the headpiece...positive in his movement and action...pleasure to judge so many outstanding dogs" John McManus (Pastoral Group judge at WELKS 2007).
Above all else Nasa is a real pleasure to live with. |

Ike has now retired from the showring and although he was retired before Malamutes got Championship Status in 2006, he has already got CC winning progeny.

AUSTMANS CHASES DREAMS photo by: Alan V Walker | At just 16 months of age 'Chase' won her first CC in style at the ACD Society of GB's 1ST CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW in September 2007, going on to win BEST IN SHOW from an entry of 54.
BCC & BEST IN SHOW ACDSGB CH SHOW 2007
The judge Margaret Davis (Australia) said: "Blue speckle without markings. Lovely type, well made all round with correct outline and balanced angulation. Correct head. Still needs to fill out a bit and mature. This young girl's outstanding movement covering the ground with ease and showing that tireless "go all day" look of a true Australian working dog won her the CC and BIS. She should have a great future". |
TUVAURAT KICAPOUX AUSTMANS | 'Moko' is our long awaited Ike son.
This promising young chap is the combination of some of the UKs Top Winning Malamutes, having 5 different UK Group Winners behind him over 4 generations.
Bred by Kris Hunter.
After nearly a 2 year break from showing Malamutes we are looking forward to showing Moko in 2008. |
