SHANNARA COCKER SPANIELS

We are a small particolour hobby/show kennel based in south Essex. All our dogs live in doors and are first and foremost much loved pets. We only have the very occasional litter and only when we want something new to show. Health and temperament our paramount before all else and all breeding stock is health screened (ie eyes, etc...) prior to breeding.

Cocker Spaniels have been a huge part of our lifes since 1992 when we purchased our first blue baby girl from Helen MacDonald (Moonwood) in East Sussex. Prior to this i had been bitten by the showing bug handling various friend's Golden Retrievers very successfully in Junior Handling.

Since this time we have bred the odd litter, have been joined by two lovely and lively Welsh Springer Spaniels and have been fortunate to produce offspring that have won at championship and open show level, every one having qualified for Crufts.
