JINNYBRUX GENETIC GENIE
JINNYBRUX GENETIC GENIE

We are a small kennel whose boxers are very much 'pets first'....show dogs second......they're part of our family. This is a family which currently includes four veterans (over the age of seven)...........our 'oldies' stay! Sadly, we recently lost our oldest girl, a 13 1/2 year old Gigolo daughter. All ours are individually cremated and come home, we have their caskets here with us.We now have a 13
year old, and an eleven yr old) We have 5 generations of Jinnybrux here.
We are thrilled to have made up our Champion girl, (Sired by our own, home bred boy) and to have qualified ten for the stud book........no easy task when one sees the numbers of boxers competing at Ch. shows !
Having won prizes consistently with our boxers at Crufts since 1992 up to the present day, by producing & exhibiting consitently high qualiity, HEALTHY (see the ages of our oldies) animals who win under all round judges and boxer breed experts (from the U.K. & other countries).
The Kennel Club invited us to be FOUNDER members of the accredited K.C. Breeder Scheme...........we were honoured to accept. It was an offer bestowed only on the 'chosen few'.
We like to think we 'have an eye' for a good one..............maybe helped a little by the fact that I was taught to 'have an eye' for detail, conformation and construction.......in the four years when I studied for, and gained my B.A. Hons in fine art. It's helped along the way, together with the fact that we showed our first dog forty years
ago...........gaining our first award at Crufts in 1960.This was only after having had some excellent experience working/handling for the, then, top mini bull terrier kennel in the country....'Navigation' who won both the dog and bitch C.C. in the breed the first time they were offered.Guess we served our apprenticeship...and were happy to do so.
We only have a maximum of TWO litters from any bitch, sometimes not even two, we feel this is enough to ask, they are NOT breeding machines.Should a bitch have any problem at all whelping (including caesareans) she would NOT ever be bred from again, regardless of whether it was her first litter or not.To us, her welfare is paramount and she is very precious.Much more so than ££££sssss.Such a bitch would still stay with us, and would not be passed on.Ours are 'family'.
We do not often have puppies available, but those who have waited for one have been delighted with what we have chosen for them....
WINNERS FOR BEGINNERS.
A girl , Jinnybrux Genevieve, (Heart tested zero)who became an Irish Champion for a beginner,(Mr Andrew Brady, now having the Handina affix). She really put him on the map and he has gone on to breed winners from this superb show foundation bitch. It was from this bitch that our handsome boy, Handina Jameson was born (He sleeps on m' bed) . He is proving to be a prolific sire.producing very much a type. Our litter by him delighted us by all individually qualifying for Crufts.
One of the litter,Jinnybrux Heavensent Gent, born March '03, he qualified for his first Crufts at just 6 months, won a class of 36 (THIRTY SIX !!! ) Best Any variety working dog puppy (6-12mnths) at Driffield CH Show, again at 6 months of age.His beginner handler/ owner (Mrs Jenny Stewart) patiently waited for 2 years for him, she's delighted she did! .He has gone on to qualify each year since. He won Res. Green Star at Tralee Ch. Show, at just 17 months of age. H e has gained awards in limit dog class at Ch. Shows.is now heart tested clear.
Three of his litter sisters, our own two....Jinnybrux Call Me Jezabel, Jinnybrux I'm a Celebrity and Eileen Woolliss's Jinnybrux Just a Hint at Rameleon, all qualified for Crufts too ............ proving we don't just have ONE star in our litters, all are of a consistently excellent quality.
We don't mate our bitches for the money, you will NEVER see our puppies advertised, which is why you will have to wait patiently for a 'Jinnybrux' baby. You will also be aked a LOT of questions.
We only mate them when we want something ourselves for the showring. Also, ours live with us for life....not to be passed on.
We welcome comments from experienced breeders/pet owners and anyone with an interest in our beloved breed. We very much realise that we are a long way from knowing it all......FORTY years in dogs is nowhere near long enough to do that. However, I was delighted to judge males at the MANCUNIAN BOXER CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW in April 2005. I feel that it is especially rewarding when asked by a Boxer Breed Show.............the 'stamp of approval'....and the Club's belief that I am qualified to give my opinion. I am honoured that they think so.My C.C. winner was 4yrs old and this was his first C.C. He has gained the required additional 2 more since, and is now a Champion. This was followed by my judging the AUCKLAND BOXER CLUB 50th Jubilee CH. Show in New Zealand in Nov. 2005.An honour indeed!
I judged PORTADOWN CH. SHOW in Southern Ireland, in Oct '06, I awarded Green Stars (Equivalant of C.C.'s) for the first time when I judged both sexes there.
I really enjoyed judging Lisburn, N.Ireland May '06 (Every one of the breeds in the working group + the group itself. My working group chosen winner, a doberman bitch, went Res. B.I.S. I was delighted after the show to learn that she is the youngest U.K./Irish Ch. doberman ever......at just 2yrs of age. (Guess I 'got it right'!) I judged the Working Group at Lincoln C.S. when my puppy Working Group winner went on to win Best Puppy in Show, and later Best Puppy Dog in Breed at Crufts '07. I judged Best in Show/Best Puppy in Show/A.V. Import at Coalville & Dist. C.S. in Jan. '07, my Best in Show has gone on to become a Champion, she has gained 19 C.C.'s in less than 12 months, I'm delighted to say. I have judged the working group at Sutton C.S.(May '07) also some pastoral breeds......my B.O.B. corgi went on to win the Group.
I am judging dogs and bitches in Capetown, S.Africa in October 2008, at the Western Province Boxer Club CH. Show, I am really looking forward to this and consider it a great honour to be asked.
I am judging the Special Puppy Event for the Midland Boxer Club in ovember 2008, also Best in Show at Doncaster show in Nov. '08.
I am very flattered that so many societies think highly enough of me to be asking me to judge these very important groups.

We are delighted. She is, of course, by our red/white boy J. Jimmy Nail (Heart tested grade zero, the best possible).........sire of other many Crufts qualifiers/award winners, Ch. Show winners etc. Gertie's mother is a Jon-Ross daughter.
One of our baby boys went to 'fly the flag' in the USA . He is Jinnybrux Olympic Flame . WATCH for him!!! He is out of a J.R. daughter (it was her first litter), and by Jinnybrux Jimmy Nail. The puppy is 'just a bit' special! He flew out to join the show team of Lori Ikuma in Fresno.
California.
The whole litter was so lovely, that we have repeated the mating and were not disappointed. WOW!!!! We have kept a boy and a girl, they are something else! He is 'Jinnybrux Genetic Genie' (Giles), she is 'Jinnybrux Gene Scene' (Jessica).....named thus, as they have, in their pedigree, EVERY boxer I have ever won with! HE will be one to use.......if you like the type.Watch for them, they hit the ring in mid April.See their pickies at top of this page.(Stop press! BOTH qualified for CRUFTS '08 and now '09 qualified!!!)
A 'word of advice'.........when 'so called' experienced breeders say " TOP PRODUCING STUD DOGS" ............ASK........WHAT WINNERS they have produced! WE can name OURS! You can see them, or even use them. The latest icing on the cake? ALL FOUR we took to CRUFTS '07 won awards. Our policy of 'Quality not quantity' obviously works!
