At the Alaskan Malamute Club Show, Autumn 1997 (Judge: Liz Cartledge) the first Myatuk litter also took all the major puppy awards between them and gained -

1st & 2nd in Puppy Dog
1st & 2nd in Puppy Bitch
Best Puppy in Show and
Reserve Best Puppy in Show

Having been awarded Best Puppy in Show Myatuk Sirius 'Floyd' (owned by Ian & Jayne Hood) also qualified to become the Malamute Club representative at the Top Puppy Competition 1997 where from 32 puppies he gained 3rd place

Pamela Cross-Stern (breed judge Birmingham National Championship Show) wrote:
"I feel the first 2 dogs in this class (Junior Dog) could really do the job for which they were originally bred" (Referring to Myatuk Navajo and Myatuk Sirius) .
