I have been in GSPs for 18 years now, I both work and show my dogs, I am also on the "B" list for judging the breed. I am a member of both the GSP Club and GSP Assosiation.
I have won a total of 4 CC showing for other owners and have won 2 res CC with my own dogs . I am also the sec.of my local ring craft club. I have 4 male GSPs at the moment but my first GSP was female and I did breed from her but I now find I prefer the boys.
Of my current boys Bart and Bisto have their stud book numbers . Bart has his show gundog working cert. and a res CC. Bisto is a wonderful dog and is a good working dog. My old boy Bovril now 12 years old also has a spring pointing test grading.The new member of the family is Boo is now 2 years old and has just completed his first shooting season I was very pleased with how it went.Boo is a Bart son. Both Bisto and Boo are qualified P.A.T. Dogs, All my dogs have their KC good citizens bronze award and Boo has also got his silver award too
My boys are first and formost pets giving me a great deal of pleasure. I can not imagine life without a GSP
