THIS IS THE LOVELY CHESHIRE VILLAGE WHERE WE LIVE JUST 2 MILES FROM THE HISTORIC ROMAN CITY OF CHESTER OR DEVA IN ROMAN TIMES OUR DOGS HAVE ACCESS TO OPEN COUNTRYSIDE AT THE END OF OUR LANE AND WALKS ALONG THE CANAL TOWPATH OF THE SHROPSHIRE UNION CANAL

WELCOME to ADEVA SHOWDOGS ,We are a small show / breeding kennel NOT a commercial kennel and our dogs wellbeing is our first priority.Our dogs are pets first, show dogs second all have excellent temperements as all well bred Americans should have.Our dogs are vet checked each year ,all our breeding stock are eye tested under the Kennel Club BVA scheme for the eye tests laid down by The Kennel Club including test for glaucoma they are all DNA profiled. and micro-chipped.We have litters every 18 months to 2 years and never more than two from any one bitch. ADEVA puppies are bred with love and raised in the home not in kennels and we have had SUPERB feedback from ALL our puppy owners who keep in touch by email and letter.Puppies leave us with WELL STOCKED puppy packs full of food and other goodies all are innoculated & microchipped.ADEVA SHOWDOGS have bred pups who have gone on to win in the show ring in the UK and abroad We have two of our puppies working in the field flushing working with a black lab in Oswestry,their litter sister became a Spanish show champion so the breed is dual purpose. I am a Kennel Club Accredited breeder and a member of the Dog Breeders Association.David and i are both on the commitee of The American Cocker SpanielClub of Great Britain and members of The Northern Counties American Cocker Spaniel Club. Advice is given and visitors are encouraged to meet the dogs,(all are friendly we do not have to hide bad tempered dogs away) visitors can stroke and pet our dogs BE WARY OF BREEDERS WHO ARE NOT WILLING TO LET YOU SEE THEIR DOGS CLOSE UP.Questions will be answered and all paperwork for each dog is open to be viewed.We have kept albums of earlier litters and our growing collection of books on the breed. can be browsed through with a drink and biscuits,all crumbs cleared up by whoever is our house dog at the time. ALL PUPPIES BRED BY THIS KENNEL HAVE ENDORSED PAPERS . This kennel does not breed litters for financial gain breeding dogs when we have homes waiting and if we are ready to run a puppy on. We have people waiting on our next litter but enquires welcome I have started judging after gaining some years in the breed and have judged at ringcraft classes and Open shows. I have attended seminars on my breed and passed the Requirements of a dog show judge exam and 40 points of the dog i also have attended two courses on dog behaviour and passed both. In 2008 i will be taking time out to work on the judging diploma course and will be stewarding at Open showa.
