Great news - Peace is now a FULL champion. She passed her Show Gundog Working Certificate.

Peace is the first English Curly Coated Retriever champion to travel and gain a champion title from another country. In July 2003, Peace became a Swedish champion. She also has a CAC from Holland.
She was the first Curly Coated retriever to hold the "new style" Junior Warrant.

Peace holds 5 C.C's, 10 R.C.C.'s, 5 CACIB, 5 Green Stars, 4 CC's from Sweden and CAC from Holland.

Peace returned to the British showring to take the RCC at Cruft's 2004. She stood in the bitch challenge line up with her mother and her daughter.

Peace has been mated to Sh.Ch. Lizalwood Wayward Lad. We have kept the male Springcurl Rigoletto .

A further outing at Cruft's 2005 resulted in First in Veteran bitch and the bitch RCC.

This liver bitch is the ONLY International champion in the UK. She has passed her FCI working test, being graded excellent on all exercises and best retriever, and has passed her SGWC in the UK.

Tia went to Finland following Cruft's to stay with Paula Sarkinnen where she was shown in Finland, Sweden and Norway. She had a litter where there is already a Russian junior champion and another 6 puppies with CC's.

Now a Russian champion as well. Also a finnish champion in litter.

Travis is sired by Sh. Ch. Lizalwood Wayward Lad out of Ch. Swed. Ch. Springcurl Peace of Mind JW.

At 4 years old he has 15 CC, 7 RCC, 22 Green Stars and 5 CACIB. He gained his Junior Warrant at 13 months old. At 17 months he gained his Show Certificate of Merit.

He is the first UK champion to hold both the JW and the ShCM.

He is also the first and ONLY English and Irish champion.

He was Top Puppy for the breed 2005. He has been TOP MALE in the breed for the last two years.

His hip score is 8:4 total 12. He has a clear eye test, clear heart test and is GSD lll clear.

He won Gundog group 8 at Tralee championship show 2007. The first curly to do this.

His kennelmate, Cimramin Capricious for Springcurl arrived from Finland at 10 months old and had already won 2 CC's from Finland.

His show career has started very well (see results page) and he now has 1 CACIB, 2 Green Stars and 2 reserve green stars.

He is the only Curly to have won a puppy group at a championship show in Ireland.

His sire is the very well known Fin. FT. Ch., Nor FT. Ch., Int. Ch Vilsan's Nordanvind and his dam is Nor Ch Ir Ch. Springcurl Keepthefaith.

Capri is working extremely well in the shooting field and has competed in working tests.

His hip score is 3:3 total 6

Capri continues to work on shoots and has passed his Gundog 1 and 2 tests.

Rhiannon is our first Welsh Springer. Sired by Sh.Ch. Ferndel Copywrite out of Weslave Paper Roses at Daelyb.

STOP PRESS: Rhiannon has a beautiful litter of 5 girls and 1 boy born on 5th August 2008. 1 girl available.

She has 3 Green Stars, 1 CACIB and 3 Reserve Green Stars, 1 Reserve CACIB

She was mated to Arkview Moonstroller and had 8 puppies, 4 boys and 4 girls. We own a bitch in partnership with David Ince, Springcurl Face of an Angel.

Springcurl Face of an Angel took Best Puppy at Dun Laoghaire International championship show. She won Junior bitch at Gundogs of Scotland championship show and has been consistently placed at other championship shows.

From Rhiannon's second litter we have kept a male, Springcurl Carpe Diem. He was best puppy dog at Bournmouth and Gundog Breeds of Scotland championship shows, won minor puppy dog at Welsh Kennel Club and has a BOB and a number of Best puppy awards already. Now 12 months old he is well on his way to his Junior Warrant.

We also kept a bitch, Springcurl Metaphor who will be campaigned in 2008.

While our main breed is Curly Coated Retrievers, Lyn has owned and handled the Dobermann Ch Dorusta Lutzow, Lexa Aldo and a number of other Dobermanns to C.C.'s and R.C.C.'s. She awards Challenge Certificates in Dobermanns and CCR's. Lyn has also achieved success in Working Trials and Obedience with Dobermanns.



Lyn has also handled the English Springer Spaniel - Ternspringer Puppet on a String. Twopence, has won consistently through her puppy career, the height of which was Best Puppy in Breed at National Gundog Championship show under the late Jean Taylor. An honour she will never forget. Twopence has been mated to Sh. Ch. Calvdale Call of the Search. We have kept a bitch - Springcurl Centre Stage or Keira to her friends.

Keira now has 2 green stars and 3 reserve green stars in addition to a number of BOB's and Best puppy awards.


Nor Ch Ir Sh Ch Springcurl Keepthefaith, was on holiday from Finland for a short time. She was mated to Sh. Ch. Kelsmere Kopyright, and produced a super litter of 12 healthy puppies. Ir Sh Ch. Springcurl Jane Eyre JW (Bronte) has stayed with us.

She has 2 RCC's, runner up Top puppy in the breed (only beaten by her brother). This was the first litter where two progeny from the same litter gained their Junior Warrants.

At her first show, Bronte took Best puppy and Puppy group 3. At Combined Canine International show she was again Best puppy.

ALL of our curlies have low hip scores and have clear eye certificates. All of our showdogs are DNA profiled.
