MORGANNA

Morganna Millerson JW (2 CCs) is by Morganna Marakesh x Morganna Mauve. Jay is line bred on old English lines and introduces an outcross to the top winning Dutch 'Greynoble' lines. He is a medium sized, balanced dog with a super temperament and colour who fits the standard well .

As a puppy he won consistently -36 firsts by 14 months - culminating in his Junior Warrant. He has numerous Best Puppy in Breed including the Weimaraner Club's open show, 2 x Best of Breed, 3 x RBOB, 2 x Puppy Group 2 placings.

He won his way out of graduate and post graduate at championship shows winning consecutive classes . He was placed second in a big limit class at Crufts 2009 and at Southern Counties championship show he 2009 won his first CHALLENGE CERTIFICATE with BEST of BREED. This was followed at his next show, Blackpool, with his second CC.

Jay has a good nose, was pointing partridge at 9 months and is showing promise in the field. He is an experienced, kind, gentle stud and is siring quality puppies. All those in the showring have qualified for Crufts. Those in training for field work are doing well.

Roo is out of Marakesh's sister and is typical of Morganna breeding. He is a very gentle, kind boy with strong bone, a super head and a good colour - qualities he is passing on to his offspring.

Roo was lightly shown and won three firsts at championship level.
He is a good hunter and has a keen nose.
He is line bred and his pedigree has excellent companion, show and working dogs.

MARAKESH (Rockleyan Ringleader JW x Tribart Classical Melody of Morganna) died in September 2008 and is sorely missed in our family. He was a grandson of CHAMPION MORGANNA MOZART and had many of his father's traits.
MARAKESH was bred on the best English and German lines. He had a superb temperament and working ability and sired balanced, well-boned pups.
His first litter in Holland produced a Dutch champion bitch and a dog from the second litter Dutch litter is also now a champion. He has CC and reserve CC winning offspring in the UK and is the sire of the Thorne's new show champion. He has successful offspring in working trials and the shooting field - all much-loved companions.
His son Morganna Millerson JW is a consistent winner at championship level having two CCs and is at stud to approved bitches.

MORGANNA is a small kennel established in 1978 which strives to maintain dual purpose Weimaraners. Our proudest moment came in 1993 when CH MORGANNA MOZART (novice field trial winner and the Weimaraner Association's top field trial dog 1992) won the magic third Challenge Certificate at Crufts and became a full champion. My latest dog, Morganna MIllerson JW, won his first CC in June 2009.

Over the years Morganna breeding has had success in the showring, field, working trials and agility. Morganna dogs are bred for type, temperament and working ability. Morganna stud dogs all include the old English lines plus a range of alternative bloodlines including Dutch and German breeding.
