SHOW CHAMPION MORGANNA MILLERSON JW

Sh Ch Morganna Millerson JW (Jay) gained his third challenge certificate and title at the Scottish Kennel Club championship show in August 2009 under Mason Thorne. In June 2009 he won the first two, the first at Southern Counties championship show under Geoff Hargreaves (with Best of Breed) and his second at his next show, Blackpool, under Jean Byrne. We were absolutely delighted !

Jay is by Morganna Marakesh, sire of a number of champions at home and abroad, out of Morganna Mauve. Jay is line bred on old English lines being a good mix of show and working lines going back to Champion Morganna Mozart. He also has an outcross to the top winning Dutch 'Greynoble' lines, introducing new bloodlines to the UK.

Jay is a medium sized, balanced dog with a super temperament who fits the standard well .
As a puppy he won consistently - 36 firsts by 14 months - culminating in his Junior Warrant. He has numerous Best Puppy in Breed including the Weimaraner Club's open show, 2 x Best of Breed, 3 x RBOB, 2 x Puppy Group 2 placings.

He won his way out of graduate and post graduate at championship shows winning consecutive classes and in August 2009 gained his show champion title.

Jay has a good nose and is showing promise in the field. He is an experienced, kind, gentle stud and is siring quality puppies. All those in the showring have qualified for Crufts. Those involved in field work are doing well. Hip score 7.3.

I was thrilled when Finn won his first RCC at just 18 months under Professor D Brigden at South Wales.

Finn became the Weimaraner Association's Top Puppy 2010 in April when he won the Weimaraner of the Year puppy competition. He has won three other Best Puppy in Show awards and gained enough points for his Junior Warrant at just 11 months at Coventry Gundog Society where he won his third Best Puppy in Show under K Gorman.

He is a gentle, sweet natured youngster who is following in father's footsteps. He is very like his sire in type and temperament having excellent bone, balance and type. His pedigree combines the best of English and Dutch breeding. His lines go back to M Marakesh and Ch M Mozart.

His show career got off to a good start winning best puppy in breed at Driffield ch show at six months and a day and best puppy in show at the WA show. He also won Best Puppy in Show and group four at Dukeries Gundog Club.
He has two reserve best puppy in show awards, numerous best puppy in breed, BOB, RBOB and group placings.
He is a keen hunter and pointer and is doing well in his field training.

MORGANNA MARAKESH

MARAKESH (Rockleyan Ringleader JW x Tribart Classical Melody of Morganna) died in September 2008 and is sorely missed in our family. He was a grandson of CHAMPION MORGANNA MOZART and had many of his traits.
MARAKESH was bred on the best English and German lines. He had a superb temperament and working ability and sired balanced, well-boned pups.
He has produced two UK show champions, one being my Sh Ch Morganna Millerson JW and has CC and reserve CC winning offspring in the UK . His first litter in Holland produced a Dutch champion bitch and a dog from the second litter Dutch litter is also now a champion.
He has successful offspring in working trials and the shooting field - all much-loved companions.
His son Sh Ch Morganna Millerson JW is a consistent winner at championship level and is at stud to approved bitches.

Mozart , doing what he loved best. A super dog with natural working ability who taught me about field work. Weimaraner Association top field trial dog in 1992 and a full champion, winning his third CC at Crufts. Full of drive and energy with an excellent nose and lovely, kind nature.
