The Mexican Hairless (traditionally known as the Xoloitzcuintle) was re-introduced to the UK in 1986. They are a very ancient breed of dog dating back around 3500 years which is available in 3 sizes, Miniature, Intermediate and Standard, each size has both a Coated and Hairless variety.
It has been possible to KC register Mexican Hairless during the Breeds 20 year residence however 2007 brings new excitement for the Breeds Followers as we now have an "Interim Breed Standard" enabling us to exhibit within the Import Register.
"IMA" Mexican Hairless is a Small Hobby Kennel based in Derbyshire whos aim is to Preserve this amazing breed and help to maintain its existance in the UK.

"Tzapa" is our American Import (Intermediate Size)
He became a Junior World Champion in 2003 at Dortmund, Germany.
We are now looking forward to being able to Show Tzapa in the UK as soon as the Interim Breed Standard has been finalised.
Tzapa is a very happy dog who simply "Loves Life" he is available at Stud to approved Bitches only.

"Izzie" is our American Import (Intermediate Size).
She became Reserve World Champion at the World Show in Dortmund 2003.
Izzie is very gentle and a real lady.
We are now looking forward to being able to Show her in the UK as soon as the Interim Breed Standard has been finalised.
