Birgits

'BIRGITS KENNELS' is a small kennel based in Brentwood, Essex.
We breed Dobermanns and German Shorthaired Pointers for temperment and type, and only breed occasionally.

We have owned Dobermanns since 1984 and have been breeding since 2000. We previously owned a stud dog 'Tazokha Gemini Sensation' (Rocky) who was used quite often for his temperment and size. We then got 'Birgits Secret of Ginger' (Storm) and started our own line.

By 2001 we got into German Shorthaired Pointers and that was through a good friend of ours who we have known for many years. We noticed what loving, friendly dogs they were and that we had to have one. So we got 'Zeiger Likouala at Birgits' (Shan). She done really well in the ring so we ended up getting a male 'Zeiger Pomegranite at Birgits' (Chilli). He was from a repeat mating where Shan was from.

Even though we show our dogs, they are mainly our pets who we love very dearly!
