I had my first border collie as a birthday present over 40 years ago and since then have been totally hooked on the breed.

I currently have four dogs living with me, all with totally different personalities but all full of life and wonderful examples of the breed.

In the past I have dabbled in obedience, but work commitments now permitting, plan to enter both obedience and the show ring with at least two of my family this year. In addition, as my young bitch thinks my house and garden are an agility circuit already, we plan to look at agility classes for her in the near future.

I am fascinated by the different colours within the breed, currently having a black tri, two blue tris and a gorgeous red & white. I occasionally breed a litter, but hate parting with the pups and am extremely fussy about prospective new owners - if I had the space I am sure I would keep them all.

Hopefully later in the year we will move from Birmingham into the surrounding countryside where the dogs can enjoy running free even more.
