Rosie (Portcullis Apple Of My Eye x Amberland Arrow) is typical of the gentle, loving and biddable temperament of the breed which we aim to perpetuate in our dogs.

We are always delighted to hear news of our pups and their progress.
One of these pups successfully qualified as a PAT (Pets As Therapy) dog at only twelve months of age, demonstrating reliability and gentleness. Temperament is of paramount importance to us.

Introducing Rosie's daughter born 06/04/06 Mabel ( Portcullis Crazy For You x Sh Ch Squirrelsmead Digby of Canina JW) has stayed with us and is joining the family. She's so stunning we just couldn't let her go!
Mabel has been mated to Canina Royal Request, a very beautiful dog who has a wonderful soft temperament. We are waiting until her pregnancy is confirmed by ultrasound. We do have a waiting list for these puppies but please contact us for more information.

The Portcullis Golden Retrievers live with our family on the Somerset Levels mixing with children and other animals in our busy household.
Hips are scored and they have current clear eye certificates. Temperament is of paramount importance and we only sell puppies to very carefully selected homes. Puppies can be seen with their mother, aunties and grandmother who live in the house and are part of our family.

Our affix' Portcullis' was passed on to me by my late aunt, Jill Parker, who owned and bred beautiful goldens for several decades and will be remembered by many in the doggy world.

Our dogs are not currently active in the show ring as we are still busy with our young family.
In the meantime we are enjoying life with our dogs, breeding them carefully and hoping that one day we will breed and show our own champion - in Jill's memory.
