MEGALMAR ROTTWEILERS

The Megalmar Kennel was founded in 1992, when I started to share my life with Meg, my first Rottie.
Her son, Megalmar Double Impact - Chad - was the start of my show career. A handsome dog with a terrific charcter, he won everyones heart and was a real ladies man!
He has sired several show winning offspring who have been placed consistently at Championship Show level. He has 4 CC winning children and 3 With res CC's. One of which is an Irish and UK Champion. There are also many others who have Stud Book numbers and have qualified for Crufts for life. He himself was awarded a res c.c.
Both Chad and his mum Meg were qualified P.A.T. (Pets as Therapy) dogs.
Sadly, Chad and Meg are no longer with us, but they live on in their children and grandchildren.

This is Zaleski Dick Dastardly at Megalmar JW, known as Benson. He was sired by Megalmar Double Impact out of Zaleski Tinkerbelle. He has 1CC and 1 res CC, he had qualified for Crufts for life & was the winner of the Midland Rottweiler Club Super Dog Challenge 2003.
He was awarded a CC at Darlington Championship Show with Best of Breed, followed by Group 2 in the Working Group.
He was then awarded a reserve CC at Welks.
Benson was chosen to represent the Midland Rottweiler Club at the eastern counties dog of the year event in November 2003.
We sadly lost benson in february 2005, he will be very sadly missed.

charlie is a large dog with an excellent temprement. I have only shown him lightly to date as had been campaigning Benson, Charlie has gained his stud book number and qualified crufts for life and I will now show him on a regular basis. He has produced some excellent puppies to date, with excellent

BVA hip score 3:4

We are very proud that charlie gained a 2nd in his class at cruft 2005.

Charlie sadly passed away on the 5th of March 2008 - He will be sadly missed but lives on in his daughter Choas.

Here you can see our dogs enjoying an evening out on the beach in Scotland.

All our dogs interact with each other and get along well.

This is something that is very important to us as they live in our home and not in Kennels so they have to get along and live in harmony.

To us our dogs are family members/pets first and foremost.

The fact we have had some great success in the show ring also is a bonus.

We would NEVER part with a dog that has joined our family just because He/She was not of show quality.

And it is for this reason we would only home a puppy from us to a permanant loving home.

We love to see the puppies we have bred and sold in the show ring and many of these puppies have had great success in the ring with there new owners but we do not sell puppies solely for the show ring or for guard dogs.

Our dogs have such good temeraments they would make useless guard dogs.

All of my Rottweilers are KC/BVA hip scored.
