KJALARNES HERE'S TROUBLE - ELLA

ELLA - bred by us - daughter of our top winning bitch Vannroy de Pompadour at Kjalarnes. Ella was pick of litter - her brother Kjalarnes Huggy Bear was top UK Leo puppy 2003.

KJALARNES is a Show Kennel in the heart of England - close to the NEC - M42, A45, M6 junctions. We have Leonbergers and Newfoundlands who have been bred and reared at home.

Our top winning Leonberger bitch is Vannroy de Pompadour at Kjalarnes (Ayesha). She has several Best Bitch and Best of Breed wins at Championship level. She comes from the top winning Vannroy Kennel as do our other Leos. Her offspring are now being successfully exhibited in the Show ring.

Our Newfoundland Kalibah Vinlands Kjalarnes at Kjalarnes has had show success including a placing at Crufts. Four of her offspring are being successfully shown. We are now continuing the line with pups from her daughter Kjalarnes Bamse.

MEDICAL TESTS

All our dogs have passed the relevant medical tests for breeding:
Leonbergers - hips and elbow scoring and eye testing.
Newfoundlands - hip scoring and heart testing.

A WORD OF CAUTION

Owning a giant breed brings with it extra responsibility. Your cuddly bear puppy can grow into an oversized hooligan who can wreak havoc if not properly trained and socialised. Owning a Leo or a Newf can be really rewarding providing you can put the time into its upbringing - so think carefully before you take on this commitment.
