We have owned Weimaraners for over 17 years & are members of The Kennel Clubs Accredited Breeders scheme. We are also members of The Weimaraner Club of Great Britain, The Weimaraner Association & The North of England Weimaraner Society.
We currently own four Weimaraners pictured above Ozzy, Sterling, Sissy & Shiu Shiu.
Sterling is our first show-dog who is 9 years old. Our foundation bitch who is stud book qualified. We feel her greatest achievement to date was producing her first litter on Boxing Day 2002.
Her son 'Ozzy' prefers the life of a gundog to showing. He is a real mummys boy & will do anything to please. He excels at swimming with strong retrieving instincts & our only problem is keeping him out of water.
Sissy is the bitch we kept from our litter in August 2005 & she has exceeded all our expectations in & out of the show-ring! We had hoped Sissy would produce a little girl for us in February 2008 but this was not to be.
We will mate Sissy again in December 2008, when hopefully this dream will come true.

A new addition to the Schonhund Team for 2008 & her pet name is Shiu Shiu. She is Sissy's half sister so is closely linked to all the family. As you can see Shiu Shiu has fitted in beautifully.

Sissy won The Reserve Challenge Certificate at Welsh Kennel Club 2007! 3 days before her 2nd birthday.

Sissy gained her Junior Warrant at 13 months!
(Qualified for Crufts for life)

She also got her Hip Score results in the same week, which were 3:5 Total 8 (Excellent result).

Schonhund Showprincess (Anya) has gained her Junior Warrant. Her owners Julie & Tony Goose are first time owners of the breed & were new to showing.
Handled by Julie they have added another winner to the Schonhund Team!

It's hard work being a Gundog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is Gunalt Miu Miu For Schonhund having her very first swim. She was so excited & jumped in immediately, chasing after Ozzy & Sissy.

We have owned Weimaraners for over 17 years and have had three litters so far. Our first litter was very special because it was achieved by Artifical Insemination. Our thanks go to Carolyn & Bernard Alston for allowing us to use the Fanclub semen & to Gil Simpson BVMS,MRCVS for her skill & expertise in producing 5 beautiful puppies!
In 2005, we mated the bitch we kept from our first litter, Solo to Mac (Sh Ch Gunalt Rumours about Sybaris JW). Solo had the perfect birthing & delivered 8 beautiful puppies (5 boys & 3 girls).
On Valentines Day 2008 Sissy produced 2 stunning boys sired by Merlin (Sh Ch Gunalt Inquisitor at Greyfurs JW ShCM). We had hoped for a little girl to retain for ourselves but this was not meant to be.
So for the first time in Schonhund history we will be having a second litter from her with strict instructions to produce a girl for mummy & daddy to keep!

It is our intention to remain true to the breed & are intent on attaining quality breeding through our lines.
We only breed when we want to retain a puppy for ourselves.
