We bought our first GBGV, Robinson, in 1998, prior to this we had always owned resuce dogs.
Robinson was bought as a companion for our rescue mongrel bitch, however he proved to be too energetic for her so we thought another of his own kind was the answer. This time we wanted a puppy to show, little did we know that this would be the start of an addiction to this lovely breed.
We now own 7 GBGV and have bred 4 litters.
We have had great success in the show ring both with our breeding and with our original show girl.
Last year, 2006, the first year that the KC awarded our breed championship status, we won 2 reserve challenge certificates, we have also won several Best of Breed awards at both championship show level and open show, together with Best in Shows.Best puppy in shows and Best veteran in show at open show level.
Our dogs are partly kenneled and partly house dogs, we live in the beutiful Derbyshire/staffordshire countryside with lots of lovely walks, we are fortunate enough to own 4 acres of our own, the dogs have their own paddock in this and the whole acreage is fenced to be GBGV proof to enable them to be able to run free.
Visitors are always welcome to visit our pack by appointment.
