As a child I fell in love with German Shepherds. Unfortunately, at home, I was not allowed a pet of any description, so my dreams of owning a dog had to wait until I was an adult, married with my own family.

I made sure we always had pets at home, we had Shepherds, not show dogs but just companion animals that fitted in with a growing family. That was twenty five years ago, and I have never waived from my ideals.

Fortunately, eight years ago I bought a bitch from Janet Thompson whose Janshar German Shepherds were well known for producing top class bitches. True to form Janshar Jeannie at ANDERMA was an excellent choice and she proved to be a superb foundation bitch from which the Anderma kennel was born.

I am consistently striving to breed beautiful Shepherds, each generation better than the one before.

I have not lost sight of my aims, I am clear in my intentions and do not sit back on my laurels, I am constantly looking to improve my stock. I endeavour to breed from the best, put to the best, in the hope that I will produce the best.

I consistently produce high class German Shepherds that compete at the top in the show ring, as well as being equally good at home as family companions, or taking part and enjoying a working/obedience environment.
