Started showing Cocker spaniels in 1977, Affix granted November 1978,we have bred a show champion and several RCC winners in cockers, we added Welsh springers to our kennel and had sucess at RCC level with these.

Both my wife and myself judge at Champioship level at home and abroad, dogs have been screened for PRA under the BVA KC scheme but we have recently had them all tested under the new Optigen test which are based in the USA, we have had very good results with these,with all dogs clear of PRA and Shrunken kidney both of which are heredetary, and none of them carry the gene that will pass this on in their offspring.

Have just imported a male from one of the top kennels in the States to add new blood to our breeding program even though the maximum amount of litters per Annum is usually two
