Lovalee Harmony & Lovalee Sonata photo by: G. Double | Lovalee Harmony and Lovalee Sonata (aka Sonny) are just over two years of age. They are the size I prefer to breed, which are quite small, as the original breed standard states they should be, "Small dainty and compact." They are both of very sound construction, with good level backs, and with well sprung ribs with deep brisket. They both have well-rounded, apple dome heads, and both have the correct level, scissor bite mouths. Harmony has wonderful dark pigmentation which is very striking. They both have a wonderful disposition, calm, friendly and outgoing. Their parents are my Lovalee Melody and my Double Bill. My Lovalee Melody is four years old, and is a great great grand daughter of Ch. Apoco Deodar Music Man. |
Lovalee Minstrel Miss & Lovalee Rhythm photo by: G. Double | Lovalee Minstrel Miss (aka Missy) and Lovalee Rhythm are three years of age, and are the litter siblings of my stud dog Lovalee Music Man. Their great great grandfather is Ch. Apoco Deodar Music Man. Their parents are my Lovalee Pop Larkin, great grandson of Ch. ADMM, and my Velena Victoria. Once again, they are the size I prefer to breed, which are quite small, as the original breed standard states they should be, "Small dainty and compact." Both are of very sound construction, with good level backs, with well sprung ribs with deep brisket. They both have well-rounded, apple dome heads. They both have a wonderful disposition, calm, friendly and outgoing, and these two are very playful and can be naughty. |
Lovalee Thumbalina photo by: G. Double | ~~~~~~~~~~ In Memory ~~~~~~~~~~
Lovalee Thumbalina was the smallest Chihuahua that I ever bred. She was perfect in every detail, and remained under two pounds her entire life. She lived to aged eleven years. She appeared on TV in the UK on two occasions, and was signed by an agency. Her mother was my Minstrel Lady, the grand-daughter of Ch. Apoco Deodar Music Man, and her father was Ch. Evavale Rocavella of Ballybroke. |
I have bred Chihuahuas now for 29 years, and "LOVALEE" is my KC affix.
I have always had the reputation of breeding small, yet healthy puppies. I believe that the breed size should remain as the original standard states, "Small dainty and compact."
I have no Champions as I stopped showing 18 years ago, due to ill health. I have always remained in the breed, both breeding the occasional litter, and also allowing my boys to do stud work.
I also give Chihuahua advice world wide from my top Chihuahua web site, and I have written much on the breed. I have a love for these wonderful small dogs, that I call the "Little People of the Dog World." |
