Ginny is our first home-bred English Toy Terrier Champion. Her sire is Ch Amalek I Got Rhythm and her dam is Ch Amalek A Fine Romance at Witchstone. She was Top ETT Puppy in 2003.

She became the first ever English Toy Terrier to qualify for the Dog World/Purina Puppy of the Year contest having beaten 460 other puppies to win the Paignton Heat.

She was Reserve Best Puppy In Show at Darlington Ch Show and won the Toy Puppy Group at Birmingham Ch Show.

After a very successful show career, Ginny has proved herself to be a fabulous mother as well as a model !!

From her very first litter, her son, Ch Witchstone Heads or Tails, and his litter sister, Ch Witchstone Telling Tails, both became Champions before the age of 18 months. They won the Dog CC & Bitch CC at Crufts 2007.

In a bid to introduce new healthy genes we visited the USA in 2002 and chose Moses from the 120 Toy Manchester Terriers shown at their annual speciality show.

At 12 months he had already gained his American Champion title and we are indebted to his breeders, the late Garry Freeman & Ron and Linda Spooner, for allowing him to come to the UK.

Moe was only shown 5 times in the UK. He gained 3 CC's and 1 RCC gaining his Champion title with Best of Breed at Crufts 2005. He wa short-listed to the final 7 in the Toy Group. He was the first ETT to gain it's Champion title on both sides of the Atlantic.

He is a fantastic stud dog. The introduction of his new genes has increased fertility and he is siring litters of 5 & 6.

He is tested clear for patella luxation (Puttnam 0) and clear for Von Willebrands disease.

STOP PRESS -
Moe's has now sired two more Champions - Ch Witchstone Heads or Tails and Ch Witchstone Telling Tails. He has been Top Sire for the last three years by virtue if the unrivalled success his progeny have enjoyed in the show ring.

Tulip started her show career in style during 2005.

She is sired by Ch & Am Ch Animalhouse Partytyme Moe out of Witchstone Storm In A Teacup (litter sister to Ginny).

At just 12 months and 14 days old she gained her final Challenge Certificate to become a Champion at Midland Counties on Oct 28th, 2005. This made breed history as she became the youngest ETT ever to gain her Champion title.

She was TOP ETT & TOP PUPPY in 2005 and TOP ETT in 2006.

She now has 11 CC's and 10 Best of Breeds.

She was placed 4th in the Toy Group at WELKS & Southern Counties Ch Shows, 2nd in the Toy Group at Bath Ch Show and won the Toy Group at SKC, Border Union & Windsor Ch Shows - the only ETT ever to win three Toy Groups.

She went on to be BEST IN SHOW at Border Union Ch Show under judge Ann Arch - the ONLY time an ETT has ever won this top award.

At Windsor Ch Show she was awarded BIS 3 and Best Opposite Sex in Show under judge Stuart Mallard.

She whelped a litter of beautiful puppies in December 2006. Witchstone Cover Story and Witchstone Centre Fold have both enjoyed success in the show ring winning RCC's and Toy Puppy Groups at Ch Shows. Their sire is Ch Amalek I Got Rhythm.

Witchstone is a small show kennel that was established in 1993 with the arrival of our beautiful whippet, Courthill Casting Shadows.

Our first ETT arrived in 2000 and became a Champion the following year.

We are committed to improving the popularity of this vulnerable, native British breed through breeding healthy stock with outgoing personality and true terrier characteristics.

We have collected the very best pedigrees from around the world to create a successful breeding programme.

We have over an acre of gardens in which our dogs are free to run and play ensuring they are always in the peak of condition and fully fit.

We acquired our first Manchester Terrier in 2004, Ch Gloryline Margaret Tudor with Shemal Aireworth (Madge).

Madge was BEST IN SHOW at The British Manchester Terrier Club Ch Show in 2004 and was Best of Breed at Crufts in 2005; the same year she was she was Top Manchester Terrier in the UK.

She was also Best of Breed at Crufts 2007 and was Top Manchester Terrier again last year.

She is now the Bitch CC record holder having won 18 CC's from 18 different judges.
