I have lived with Labradors for most of my life, growing up in a family who Puppy Walked for the Guide Dogs for the Blind. As soon as I left home I bought a black Labrador called Henley, soon followed by a chocolate girl, Isis, and from there my interest in showing, breeding and working my dogs in the field grew. Issi produced me a wonderful litter, of which I kept two, Henissy Chocolate Peanut (Nut) and Henissy Magic Mocha (Hampton) this was not only a 'dream team' in the field but in the ring too, both being shortlisted in their BASC classes at Crufts. Nut in turn had a small litter, giving me my next generation, Henissy Blackberry Belle (Polly) and Henissy Hickory Harry (Perry). These two quickly picked up what they needed to do and I have had, and continue to have great pleasure in working them along side Hampton and until 2013, Nut. Hampton was shortlisted in the BASC class at Crufts in 2013 at the age of 10 and Polly was placed 5th in the same year and shortlisted in 2014. Apart from the working and showing they are all a fantastic part of the family, with a great sense humour and love for life - and on occasions - far too many brain cells!!!

In May 2014 Polly gave me a fantastic litter of 10, by Keene's Walnut Wesley at Ryedown. From this I kept a black dog Henissy All That Jazz (Oakley) and a chocolate girl Henissy Razzle Dazzle. These two have given me the most amazing summer of showing, loving every minute of touring the country. Oakley qualified for Crufts in style with a 1st at Leeds Champ Show at 14months old, and then gave me an amazing two months in the show ring, gaining his Junior Warrant at 16 months. Razzle also qualified for Crufts 2016 with a 3rd at the Welsh Kennel Club, where she also picked up her first 1st in Debutante.
