Starlight Betty Res in Veteran Crufts 2016

We are currently staff to seven whippets having had our first in 2008 this is my lovely fawn girl Starlight Betty (Milli). She was shown in 2016 at Windsor, her first and only Champ show, and was BVIB after winning a strong veteran bitch class, She went to Crufts and I was delighted when she was placed Reserve (4th) out of 23 bitches.
We bred a litter from her in 2013 by Turn of Gold at Yantabella and kept 2 bitches Jazz , Courtbirch Scarlet O'Hara who has done consistently well qualifying for Crufts in the years she has been shown and invariably placed at shows at all levels. We also kept Penny, Courtbirch Miss Moneypenny who is my daughters.
We also have two Spyanfly girls bred by Pauline Oliver who has proved to be a good friend. She introduced me to showing and has supported and encouraged me ever since and she makes me do it right. Spyanfly Stone of Love, Smudge, is now a veteran and loves the sofa.
Spyanfly Saucy Socks, Moss, has done very well for us having qualified and been placed at for Crufts in both 2014 and 2015, She qualified in 2016 but could not be shown as her breeder was judging and she now has her Stud book number so is qualified for life. In 2015 she produced a lovely litter by Collooney Billy the Whizz and we are now showing two of her offspring Courtbirch Force of Nature and C Magical Gaia.
STOP PRESS Ash Courtbirch Force of Nature won RDCC at Driffield Champ show under Agneta Kappers at 14 mths we are over the moon with this achievement.
The culmination of my wishes to combine the two families of Milli, Starlight Betty, and Moss, Spyanfly Saucy Socks, was achieved in December 2016 with the birth of the Courtbirch Weather Litter. Sire Courtbirch Force of Nature Dam Courtbirch Scarlet O'Hara. They were exactly what I wanted and we have kept a fawn girl Lulu, Courtbirch Diamond Dust to show and a boy went to my friend Jane Severn, Nattah Whippets, to show. We are both eagerly looking forward to them getting in the ring. One gratifying thing was all of the puppies were either booked before being born or homed from a waiting list.
Our whippets are pets first and foremost and live with us in the house and we will only breed when we want to keep a puppy for ourselves. If we do have puppies for sale they will only go to vetted homes, I will have to meet you and like you, our puppies are very special to us and will not go as only dogs or where they will be left all day so please don't ask if that is what you want.
We do not have any future litters planned for 2017/2018.
