BEAUGENCY

All our Briards are family pets and live together with us in the house. Showing has been our hobby since 1983 and has given us great successes. Temperament and soundness is our prime concern. We aim for quality, not quantity., having had only 11 litters in 23 years and bred 9 Champions with others winning CC's and RCC's. Primarily though, our briards are pets first and foremost.

Our foundation bitch, to whom we owe it all. A super character, who lived life to the full! We miss her still, but she lives on in her grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Vastie has been bought from the world famous kennel of de la Tour St. Genin. She is a real sweetie and fits in beautifully with all the other dogs.

Her show season really took off in 2007, starting the year by winning the RCC at Crufts and ending it as TOP BRIARD 2007.

She had just one baby girl born in a litter from our black boy Matt, and they say the best things come in small packages. Ria, is completely fulfilling that promise and is a real beauty - winning Best Junior in Show at the French club show no less! She topped this by winning her 1st CC at only 13 months of age at the British Briard Club Ch Show.

Vastie's 2nd and last litter was to our Multi Ch Pernod. We have kept a beautiful fawn boy Ritz, who shows the promise of his father.
