![]() 4 Generations of Black and Tans photo by: Joan Goldin | This photo shows 4 generations of Fleetgold Black and Tans. On the left is Fleetgold Secret Agent (Tagg), the baby of the family. Next to her is Bilchry Nutmeg of Fleetgold (Peanut), her great grandmother. Then comes Fleetgold Patsy Pumpkin (Pumpkin), Tagg's grandmother. The rough coated dog is Fleetgold Django Reinhardt (Django), who is Tagg's father. Next to Django is Fleetgold La Trufflina (Truffle), his litter sister and on the far right is Fleetgold Cocoa Bean, Tagg's mother. |
Fleetgold is a small kennel, specialising in Black and Tans. I breed very infrequently. My dogs are first and foremost pets, showdogs second and are my constant companions. I also do obedience with my dogs at club level and all my dogs have Kennel Club Good Citizen awards at one level or another, up to Peanut who was one of the first at my club to get the Gold award and is, I think, the first Griffon to gain this award. She has since been joined in holding this award by her daughter Pumpkin. Django and Cocoa Bean are at present on their Silver awards and hope to go on to take the Gold. Tagg and Truffle hold their Bronze awards. | |
