Welcome to Adorele

From January 2014, Adorele has been formed, signifying a change of Kennel name and carrying on, and incorporating, the good work of Cotonese. The name change celebrates the achievements of our shining star, International, Multi and Multi-Grand Champion, Versailles Tanika Adorele at Cotonese, under the guidance of Lesa Miles!

As a small hobby breeder, we have had dogs for many years and own and show both Havanese and Coton de Tulear. Adorele is strongly committed to health testing and all our dogs are health tested. Adorele (formerly Cotonese) strives to be an independent breeder that has the well-being of Havanese and Coton de Tulear breeds at the heart and centre of everything we do.

Adorele (Cotonese) is a member of the Kennel Club's Assured Breeders Scheme.

All our dogs live with us in the house and have the freedom of our garden.

Havanese:

Lesa Miles shows her beautiful Havanese, including International, Multi Champion, Multi Grand Champion, World Junior Winner (2012) & German Federal Winner Versailles Tanika Adorele at Cotonese (aka Tanika) - see below for a more detailed profile.

Coton de Tulear:

Our first Coton (International, German (VDH) Champion, Slovenian Beauty Champion (CH. SLO) and Multi-Junior Champion Jespersen's Excalibur at Cotonese - aka 'Prince') has come all the way from Denmark, from a wonderful breeder and friend, Brigitte Jespersen, who has given us so much support and friendship. We thank her for this beautiful boy.

Adorele is very fortunate to own these exciting dogs and enjoy the pleasures of both showing and breeding quality dogs. Indeed, our success as a new entity has been noticed even by OUR DOGS, one of the leading publications in the field of dog showing. Not only were Prince and Tanika profiled in the OUR DOGS ANNUAL 2013 (p. 309), but Professor Lee Miles of Adorele also contributed a 2 page article to the European Section of the 2013 Annual, entitled 'Tour Britannia: The Brits Abroad' that discusses the exciting challenges faced by British dog showers and owners who seek to campaign their dogs abroad!

And a second follow up article, about the 2013 successful exploits appeared in a special article entitled 'Cold, Yet Cool Britannia: Success in Snowy Slovenia' (page 15) in the 22nd February 2013 issue of OUR DOGS, the leading newspaper in Europe for dog breeders and showers.
