Shepalian Nightflight to Moortime ShCM CDex UDex WD (Flight) wins Best Veteran in Show at the Bristol & District Dog Club Open Show on 21st March 2009 and the following weekend wins Best Veteran in Show (Day 2) at the Bodmin & District Canine Society 2 Day Premier Open Show.

On 19th April 2009 at the Australian Shepherd Club of UK's Limit Show Flight wins Best Bitch, Best Veteran in Show & Best in Show.

Following the show ASCUK held their AGM & Annual Awards presentation for 2008 and Sapphire (Moortime Devon by Moonlight) won the Best Opposite Sex Puppy award & the trophy for the most points gained at Open Shows by an Aussie Bitch.

Mocha (Moortime Silent Night 'A'Ex) also did extremely well winning the trophies for Class 'A' & Class 'B' Obedience as well as the Overall Best Obedience Dog for 2008. He was then awarded the Aussie of the Year trophy which is awarded by the committee to a dog that has been a good ambassador for the breed

When phoning my husband to say how well we had done at the show & the Annual Awards he was thrilled & had good news of his own. He had worked Fern (Moortime Forest Fern CDex UDex WDex TD Pre.Bex.Ex) in Beginner's at the Goonhavern Canine Training Club Open Obedience Show that same morning & had gained 1st place. She followed this with 7th place in Novice.
Fern then went on to win her second Beginner at Plymouth DTC on 10th May 2009.

Sapphire also wins the trophies for the Best Puppy at Open Shows 2008 and the Best Puppy at Championship Shows 2008 at the National Australian Shepherd Association Annual Awards presentation

Not to be out done Shepalian Acountry Cousin of Moortime CDex UDex WDex (Gypsy) wins Best Veteran in Show at the Exonian Canine Association Open Show on 4th April 2009.

All the bitches living in our kennel have been Hip Scored. They have all been DNA tested by the Animal Health Care Trust - Eyes clear of Hereditary Cataracts HSF4. They have also been DNA tested for MDR1 (Multiple Drug Resistance Deficiency).

Flight, Fern, Spirit & Jay have been DNA tested by Optigen for PRA & CEA/CH. As Sapphire's parents are both clear of CEA/PRA, she will also be clear.

Our dogs are dual purpose participating in Working Trials, Competative Obedience and showing in the Breed ring. We have had success in each of these disciplines.

Gypsy produced our first litter of puppies in September 2002.

One of her offspring, Moortime Stormy Sky from Rosara ShCM was Best in Show at the North Devon Canine Association Open Show on 17th October 2004. Previous to this he was Reserve Best in Show at St Austell and District Canine Society Open Show on 22nd February 2004. He has gone on to win another Best in Show at the Plymouth & District Kennel Association Open Show on 19th November 2006.

Her daughter, Moortime Forest Fern CDex UDex WDex TD, has had success at Working Trials, where she has qualified CD Open in First place, CDex in Second place, UD Open in First place, UDex and then two WD Opens in Second and Fourth place. She has also gained three WDex qualifications, in the second of these she was awarded First place. The day after qualifying her second WDex, at a different trial, she qualified her first TD Open & was placed 3rd.
Fern has retired from Working Trials & is now competing in the Obedience ring. The first time out she was placed 3rd in Pre-Beginners & 4th in Beginners. The following day she won Pre-Beginners so can now add the letters Pre.Beg.Ex after her name along with the Working Trials qualifications. (See Stop Press for latest info).

Another of Gypsy's daughters, Moortime Magic of the Moors at Shenkiri ShCM (Shenzi) was Reserve Best in Show at Anglesey CS Open Show on 14th May 2005. She has gone on to win Best In Show on 15th October 2005 at Llandudno CS Open Show. Shenzi has had one litter of 8 pups.

Shenzi has matured into a beautiful girl & on the 21st April 2007 she was awarded Best Bitch at the Working & Pastoral Breeds Association of Wales Championship Show. In May 2008 she gained the remaining points needed for her Show Certificate of Merit. On 26th October 2008, Shen was awarded Reserve Best Bitch of Breed at the Midland Counties Championship Show.

Flight had a litter of Red Merle/Red Tri puppies on 20th December 2003.

Flight's 1st litter did very well in the Breed Ring in the Puppy classes during 2004.

At Championship Shows:

Moortime Night Spirit achieved 2 Best Puppy in Breed,

Moortime Nighthawk over Jotars achieved 3 Best Puppy in Breed,

Moortime Flyby Night at Amenbury achieved 1 Best Puppy in Breed.

At Open Breed Shows the above three dogs achieved numerous Puppy Group and Adult Group places, all whilst under the age of ten months.

Moortime Nighthawk over Jotars (Dazzle) was Best Puppy in Show at Liskeard and District Canine Association Open Show on 18th July 2004.

They have continued to do well since moving out of puppy classes.

On 29th January 2005 at the Newton Abbot and South Devon Canine Society Open Show Dazzle gained Best in Show out of an entry of 1,300 dogs.

On 18th March 2006 at Bodmin & District Premier Show Dazzle again took Best in Show. This followed a 1st place in Post Graduate Dog at Crufts 2006.
His success continues as he was Reserve Best in Show at the South West Working & Pastoral Breeds Association on 6th May 2006.

Moortime Flyby Night at Amenbury (Apollo) - another of Flight's sons, was Best Puppy at Chudleigh Horse and Dog Companion Show in 2004 and in 2005 at the same show took Best in Show, followed soon after by being Best in Show at the Moretonhampstead Dog Jamboree.
Then again at the Chudleigh Show in June 2006 Apollo was awarded Best in Show.

Moortime Silent Night 'A'Ex.(Mocha) - another lad from Flights first litter gained 1st place out of 48 dogs in Novice Obedience at the Redditch & District Canine Society Open Obedience Show on 5th August 2007.
On 25th August 2007 he also gained 1st place out of 48 entries in Novice at the Cheltenham & District Dog Training Club Open Obedience Show,
He then went on to win Class 'A' out of 56 entries at the Axe Vale Dog Training Club Open Obedience Show on 8th September 2007.
As a result of doing so well in 2007, Sue & Mocha were invited to represent Wales in the Inter - Regional Team Obedience, working Class 'A', at Crufts 2008. This was Mocha's first time at Crufts where he worked really well doing the best scent exercise in the Class 'A' exercise.

Mocha has gone from strength to strength winning another Class A (55 entries) at the Sherborne Vale DTC Open Obedience Show on 27th April 2008. He then went on to win his third Class A (31 entries) at the South Cotswold DTC Open Obedience Show on 10th May 2008. This now gives Mocha 'A'Ex. after his name.

Moortime Night Spirit ShCM CDex UDex WD (Spirit) one of Flight's puppies from the above litter has remained with our kennel. She is a very pretty Red Merle Bitch who made her debut in the show ring at the end of June 2004 gaining two Best Puppy awards at Championship level and a number of Group placings at Open shows. She has gone on to gain her KC Show Certificate of Merit. She has followed in mum's footsteps in the Working Trials world & has now qualified CD, CDex, UD, UDex & WD.

Spirit gained the annual puppy awards for Breed Shows in 2004 from both ASCUK and NASA

Jay (Moortime Jay Fly So High) is from Flight's second litter. She is a Black Tri bitch that has been lightly shown in the Breed Ring and is training for Working Trials. On 18th February 2007 she won the Pastoral Group at the Yeovil & DCS Open Show.

Three pups from this second litter of Flights have taken several group places at Open Shows.

Jay's litter brother Moortime Fly With Raven to Jotars (Raven) was Best ASD Puppy at WELKS Championship Show on 29th April 2006.
He followed this by becoming Best Puppy in Show (held over 3 days) at The Royal Cornwall Agricultural Show on 10th June 2006.

Also on 29th April 2006 their sister Moortime Birthday Night (Echo) was Best Puppy in Show at the Burnham on Sea Companion Dog Show.

On 3rd September 2006 their brother Moortime Free Flyer Over Amenbury (Juno) was Best in Show at Rixey Park Country Fayre.

Our latest addition to the family is Moortime Devon By Moonlight (Sapphire), Jay's daughter. She will also follow in her kennel mates footsteps & will train for Working Trials, Obedience & the Breed Ring.
At just 6 months old Sapphire's first weekend in the Breed Ring saw her placed 3rd in the Junior breed class & the following day she won the AVNSC Graduate class & then went on to win Pastoral Puppy Group 4. She is continuing to do well. (See Stop Press for latest info).
