Hello! My name is Kim Hodge. I live in Derbyshire, England with my beautiful pack of Rhodesian Ridgebacks, who are delightful, well socialized hounds. I have owned Ridgebacks since 2004 and in that time have bred three healthy happy litters.

Between them my pack have 15 competition titles to their names. Rio finished 2012 as the UK's Top Rhodesian Ridgeback, 2011 as the UK's joint Top Rhodesian Ridgeback and finished 2010 ranked as America's No. 4 Rhodesian Ridgeback bitch.

We moved home to the UK from Phoenix, Arizona, USA in March 2011, where we enjoyed many happy and successful years competing in conformation, lure coursing and agility, and have continued an active involvement with breed clubs and conformation since our move to the UK.

We strive to be exceptional ambassadors of our breed. I am a member in good standing of the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of Great Britain and an active committee member, The Midlands & Northern Rhodesian Ridgeback Club, The Southern Rhodesian Ridgeback Association and the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of the United States. I'm a Past President of the Arizona Rhodesian Ridgeback Club and a Past Board Member of a US based Sighthound Lure Coursing Club Desert Fun Bunch. I am also a B-List judge for Rhodesian Ridgebacks. Whilst some of our greatest achievements have been in competition, we love nothing more than a great day spent with our dogs, family and friends.

Colby is a four times champion: American, Mexican, Pan-American and American Field Champion. He's an exceptional all rounder and puts 100% of himself into everything he does! He has magnificent movement and although a moderate sized dog (small to some, correct to breed standard to others), his personality is as big as a house! He has spent many years lure coursing and is a true sighthound who never misses a single movement in the bushes when we're out walking. Colby is now enjoying collecting some lovely trophies in his veteran years - the boy still loves the show ring! All Colby's health tests were done in the USA, he carries a CHIC number 46314 (Canine Health Information Certificate) having good and clear test results on Hips, Elbows, Eyes, Heart and Thyroid. The letters in front of Colby's name mean American Dual Champion (Am DC) - few Ridgebacks sport this title, only those with championship titles in both Conformation and in the field sport of Lure Coursing are awarded this affix. The letters after his name mean Senior Courser (SC). (Lure Coursing is a competition sport in the USA supported by the American Kennel Club the Colkeririn ridgebacks LOVE it - especially Colby!).

Reserve Best Dog and Post-Graduate class winner at Crufts 2015 under breed specialist Gill Lawless, Kamba was born on 30 June, 2013 and is the son of our American Bred girl Indie, Red Dawg's Blue Sky Supernova and Bhali, UK Ch Kiromol Kubwa Mno JW Sh CM. He's a happy, relaxed and confident young dog who makes us laugh every single day. With good looks and a great temperament, Kamba was awarded his Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Bronze Award at the young age of 7 months. His early show career saw him win the Minor Puppy Dog class at the Manchester Championship Show under respected all-rounder Liz Cartledge, and he continued to win and place well throughout his debut year in the ring. He finished his puppy classes just 4 days short of his 1st birthday at Windsor Championship Show where he won Best Puppy Dog under breed specialist Linda Cox-Parke. Since entering the big boy classes, he's won his classes under some of our most respected breed specialists, including Sue Campbell (Nyassa), Gillian Mitchelson (Voortrekker), Gill Lawless (Faahac) and Liz Storey (Kiromol), and has to date won 2 Reserve Dog CC tickets. A handsome red wheaten with little white, Kamba's hips are rated better than the breed average at 4:3 = 7 and elbows 0:0 = 0.

Rio is the daughter of the UKs Breed Record Holder, Hassle - aka GB/IR/Int Ch. Veldtkammer Lady Done a Bunk, JW. In August 2011 she made her own record by becoming the world's first ever Rhodesian Ridgeback UK Champion/American Grand Champion. She has excelled beyond my wildest dreams in the show ring, in her 3 years being campaigned in conformation she finished 2012 as the UK's Top Rhodesian Ridgeback, she finished 2011 as the UKs joint Top Ridgeback, and finished 2010 as the USA's No. 4 Rhodesian Ridgeback Bitch. At the age of 6 she won the prestigious title Best In Show at the Southern Rhodesian Ridgeback Club under widely respected and greatly admired Breed Specialist Gillian Craven (Hespa). Rio's one of the easiest dogs I've ever lived with. She's gentle, loving, affectionate and deeply loyal with a very keen herding instinct. She's happiest when all the pack are together either snuggled up all watching TV or when we're out on a long countryside walk. Rio's health checks to date have been done in the USA, with good and clear test results on Eyes, Heart and Degenerative Myelopathy.

Indie is our thinker! She's a very strategic Ridgeback and calculates every move she makes to ensure she benefits from the outcome. A very easy house dog who does almost everything without complaining - except for the last trip outdoors in the evening, where she prefers to stay cozy on her bed! Her name comes from Independent, because she is just that! Born and bred in the USA with a beautiful pedigree, Indie whelped a beautiful litter of 11 puppies (8 boys and 3 girls) in June 2013, and still enjoys mothering her now grown up son Kamba, giving him twice daily washes!

Indie's health checks were done in the USA with good and clear test results on Hips, Elbows and Degenerative Myelopathy. The title after Indie's name mean Junior Courser (JC) from the US competition sport of Lure Coursing.
