Charlie and Phoebe were 11 years old when we took this picture, Zara was only 7.

From left to right -

"Phoebe" Ch. Bucksteps Bittersweet (1992/2006)
Phoebe was the winner of the Cotswold Boxer Club
"DOG OF THE YEAR" award in 1997, and won Res. Best Of Sex" in Breed at CRUFTS 1996 and 1997. She was also Joint TOP BOXER BROOD BITCH 1999

"Charlie" Ch. Bucksteps Charlie Brown 1992/2004
"BEST OF BREED" at CRUFTS in 1997. He was the sire of many Champions.

"Zara" Ch. Bucksteps Broderie Anglaise, born in 1997

Sadly these three oldies are no longer with us. We will always miss them.

The "BUCKSTEPS" Kennel" was founded in 1970, and we are therefore proud to offer many years of expertise and experience in the breeding and showing of pedigree dogs.
We have bred many Champion Boxers including our famous "Champion Bucksteps Charlie Brown" who won "Best Of Breed" at Crufts IN 1997. And his sister "Champion Bucksteps Bittersweet" who won the title of" Top Bitch" and "Boxer Of The Year 1997", and went Res. "Best Of Sex in Breed" at Crufts in 1996 & 1997

In 2006 we acquired our first BOSTON TERRIER, and although we show little these days, we qualified our first home bred Boston for Crufts at her first show.

We are a very small kennel and all our dogs live indoors as pets. As we are members of the "Kennel Club Accredited Breeder Scheme" our dogs have complete health checks before we breed from them.
All our Boston Terriers have been DNA tested clear or are Hereditarily Clear of "Juvenile Hereditary Cataract".
And all our Boxers have been heart tested. The puppies are lovingly reared as part of the family, and we take great care to ensure that they are placed in permanent loving homes.

Both Peter and I judge at Championship level both in the UK and overseas.
