Abigail was born in February 2009. She began her competition career in May 2011 and won her Beginner's Gamblers class first time out at Broadlands under UKA rules.

She is an astonishingly biddable, high drive little dog, an angel in the house (she sleeps on the bed, often in it) and a tiger in the field.

She switches on when we need it, but has that all important 'chill switch' at home so she lies peacefully under my desk when I'm working.

She has excellent conformation and is fully health tested- clear by parentage of PRA/FN, clear eye cert with gonioscopy and a hip score of 5:6.

She is line bred to FT Chyknell Gold Star but not too closely - her Coefficient of Inbreeding over 13 generations is <3.

Run by a former vet, we are a small home-breeding kennels who have occasional litters of KC Registered working cocker spaniels when we want to keep a pup. We breed for temperament, health, conformation and drive, with a particular view to breeding for agility competition. Our dogs are fully health tested and we endeavour to use outside stud dogs whose health picture we can reasonably assess without sacrificing working ability.

We aim to produce confident, cheerful, healthy pups, with excellent trainability and drive, ready for active, positive reinforcement homes.
